Canine oral melanoma is a common, aggressive tumor with limited treatment options. Tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) are important in antitumor immunity. This study used histopathology and immunophenotyping by flow cytometry to evaluate the presence distribution of TILs canine melanoma, including frequency CD8 + T cells, CD4 regulatory cells. Fifty samples from 45 dogs that did not receive prior surgery were included study. The tissue (brisk, nonbrisk, absent) was evaluated 48 samples....
Oral mucosal melanomas (OMMs) are aggressive neoplasms commonly found in dogs but rare humans. Utilizing whole exome sequencing (WES), which focuses on protein-coding regions to reveal mutation profiles, we conducted a comparative analysis of canine OMM and human melanomas. This study involved DNA extraction, enrichment, from three cell lines (CMGD-2, CMGD-5, TLM-1), five frozen samples, line (MEMO), commercial skin melanoma (SK-MEL-28). The subsequent FASTQ files yielded final variant...
