<h3>SUMMARY:</h3> Timely administration of thrombolytic therapy is critical to maximizing the likelihood favorable outcomes in patients with acute ischemic stroke. Although emergency medical service activation overall improves timeliness stroke treatment, time from dispatch hospital arrival unavoidably decreases administration. Our mobile unit, a new-generation ambulance on-board CT scanning capability, reduces key imaging metrics and facilitates in-the-field delivery IV therapy.
