The advancement of intraoral scanners has allowed for more efficient workflow in the dental clinical setting. However, limited data exist regarding accuracy digital impressions produced with various scanner settings and scanning approaches. purpose this vitro study was to compare at crown preparation margin using different resolutions a specific system. An all-ceramic mandibular first molar constructed typodont, scan (n = 3) created an industrial-grade laboratory (3Shape D2000) as control....
Bone degenerative diseases, including osteoporosis, impair the fine balance between osteoclast bone resorption and osteoblast formation. Single-agent therapy for anabolic anticatabolic effects is attractive as a drug target to ameliorate such conditions. Inhibition of nuclear factor (NF)-κB reduces resorption. The role NF-κB inhibitors on osteoblasts formation, however, minimal not well investigated. Using an established inhibitor named S1627, we demonstrated that inhibition increases...
The aims of this study were to observe the behavior composite and formation gaps during immediately after light polymerization using swept source optical coherence tomography (OCT) compare interfacial integrity adhesives in cavities through 3-dimensional (3D) image analysis. Forty tapered cylindrical (4-mm diameter, 2-mm depth) prepared bovine incisors restored Bond Force (BF), Scotchbond Universal Adhesive (SBU), OptiBond XTR (XTR), or Clearfil SE 2 (SE2), followed by Estelite Flow Quick...
The aim of this study was to investigate volumetric polymerization shrinkage (VS), using swept-source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT), bulk-fill composites with different light-curing strategies; immediately after light-irradiation and 24 h, evaluate their regional ultimate tensile strength (UTS) at curing depths. immediate VS photo-polymerization decreased when the time reduced from 20 10 5 s. On other hand, values h significantly increased due post-cure polymerization, resulting in...
This study evaluated low-viscosity resin potential as enamel marginal gap sealant for existing composite restoration. Standard restorations with gaps were created in bovine teeth; resealed using G-Bond Plus (GB, GC, Tokyo, Japan) or Icon (ICN, DMG, Hamburg, Germany) without HCl pretreatment (n=8). Swept-source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT) images taken before and after resealing of the margin thermal cycling to calculate extent. Cross-sectional microscopy was performed confirm SS-OCT...
Dental radiographs are essential for diagnosis and treatment planning, but sometimes difficult to acquire patients with developmental disabilities (PDD). Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is a non-ionizing imaging modality that has the potential application as an alternative dental PDD. This study aimed determine feasibility of intraoral OCT Ten participants were recruited in Education Care Persons Disabilities (DECOD) Clinic explore utility OCT. The prototype system (Yoshida Dental)...
Hydrogen energy is expected to contribute a decarbonized society because it does not emit CO 2 during combustion. In particular, emissions from hydrogen production can also be prevented by utilizing renewable such as solar light and wind power. As water electrolysis one of major methods, combination cell make without emission. However, single cells usually have enough voltage electrolyze water. Therefore, modularization several units needed hydrogen. We fabricated organic thin-film using...
Purpose: The purpose of this in vitro study was to evaluate cavity adaptation between erbium-doped: yttrium-aluminum-garnet (Er:YAG) laser irradiated and composite resin using a universal type adhesive with different application by means swept source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT). Materials Methods: A cylindrical prepared on the labial surface extracted bovine incisor either rotary cutting instrument or Er:YAG laser. applied two-step self-etching (Clearfil SE Bond, CS) (Schotchbond...
Clock genes express circadian rhythms in most organs. These are organized throughout the whole body, regulated by superchiasmatic nucleus (SCN) brain. Disturbance of these clock gene expression is a risk factor for diseases such as obesity. To understand mechanism regulating vivo, multiple real time recording systems required. In present study, we developed double system Per1 rhythm peripheral tissue and tissue, quantification steadily moving target was achieved using photomultiplier tube...
The suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) orchestrates synchrony among many peripheral oscillators and is required for circadian rhythms of locomotor activity physiological processes. However, chronic administration methamphetamine (MAP) treatment dramatically lengthens period induces in animals lacking SCN. These unique effects MAP on behavior suggest methamphetamine-sensitive oscillator (MASCO). At present, the anatomical substrate molecular components MASCO are unknown.
