Background and objective: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) has a covert nature in its early stages that could postpone diagnosis. Early diagnosis can reduce or prevent the progression of renal damage. The present study introduces an expert medical decision support system (MDSS) based on adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference (ANFIS) to predict timeframe failure. Methods: core MDSS is Takagi-Sugeno type ANFIS model predicts glomerular filtration rate (GFR) values as biological marker uses 10-year...

In this work it is showed fuzzy model, trained with ANFIS algorithm, to estimate water evapotranspiration (ET) of a tomato plant, as witness in the production greenhouse. There are two variables used, VPD that represents microclimate greenhouse and mass was measured digital balance (lysimeter). Additionally, second lysimeter used prove result structure by means principle, proved effectiveness model proposed. The experimental results here presented from days, pot plant saturated no irrigation...

This paper presents the design and implementation of a simple fuzzy logic controller (FLC) for DC-DC buck converter based on PIC18F4550 microcontroller to control lead acid battery charging voltage in solar cells applications. For cost consideration, an inexpensive 8-bit is selected program implement FLC proportionalintegral. The obtained simulation experimental results show viability with variation load showing good performance FLC, it has also smooth response small overshoot.

This paper presents the development of an electronic prototype for estimating systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic (DBP) and heart rate (HR) by using features extracted from oscillometric signal obtained device. Firstly, HR was determined through peaks provided in a period thirty seconds, providing estimated value beats per minute (bpm). Second, (BP) indexes were acquired multi-layer perceptron (MLP) combination Maximum Amplitude Algorithm (MAA), which detects Mean Arterial Pressure...

Advances in medical technology suggest that the application of implantable devices or Smart Hospital Devices (SHD) can enhance control and treatment chronic disorders. However, most these developments require an electrical power source for operation, making use batteries unfeasible. This paper presents design resonance analysis four different geometries fabrication planar antennas as alternative to a contactless supply. Previously published software [19] was used calculate parameters each...
