The transition-metal-based kagome metals provide a versatile platform for correlated topological phases hosting various electronic instabilities. While superconductivity is rare in layered compounds, its interplay with nontrivial topology could offer an engaging space to realize exotic excitations of quasiparticles. Here, we use scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) study newly discovered Z$_2$ metal CsV$_3$Sb$_5$ superconducting ground state. We observe charge modulation associated the...
The Zika virus (ZIKV) outbreak and its link to microcephaly triggered a public health concern. To examine antibody response in patient infected with ZIKV, we used single-cell PCR clone 31 heavy light chain-paired monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) that bind ZIKV envelope (E) proteins isolated from memory B cells of ZIKV-infected patient. Three mAbs (7B3, 1C11, 6A6) showed the most potent broad neutralization activities against African, Asian, American strains were selected for further analysis....
We report the observation of local superconductivity induced at point contact formed between a normal metal tip and WC -- triple topological semimetal with super hardness. Remarkably, maximum critical temperature is up to near 12 K but insensitive tip's magnetism. The lateral dimensions superconducting puddles were evaluated dependencies gap upper field also obtained. These results put constraints on explanation pave pathway for exploring superconductivity.
Tip-induced superconductivity at point contacts on the nonsuperconducting Weyl semimetal TaAs has been reported recently. Meanwhile, both main tetragonal phase and intergrown hexagonal of were identified to be topologically nontrivial according theoretical calculations. Here, we report observation two independent local superconducting states induced formed TaAs, which exhibit distinct temperature dependencies critical magnetic field ${H}_{c2}(T)$. A universal relationship between...
${\mathrm{TaAs}}_{2}$ and ${\mathrm{NbAs}}_{2}$ are members of the ${MPn}_{2}$ family with weak topological invariants ${Z}_{2}$ = [0;111]. Here, we report tip-induced superconductivity achieved on both materials using point-contact technique. Although number leads to strongly crystal-orientation-dependent surface states, observed a universal relationship between zero-temperature upper critical field ${H}_{c2}(0)$ temperature ${T}_{c}$ for different crystal orientations. Combined...
A novel fluorescent probe CN3, containing 1,8‐naphthalimide and picolinate units, was synthesized, its structure characterized by 1 H nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (H NMR), 13 C (C mass techniques. The detection property of CN3 toward copper ions (Cu 2+ ) has been investigated in ethanol–HEPES buffer (v/v = 1/1, pH 7.40) solution UV–Vis absorption fluorescence emission spectra. results showed that had a highly selective sensitive quenching response to Cu , which attributed the...
Spin glasses (SGs) arise from the frustration of competing magnetic interactions without long-range order; hence they tend to be destabilized by thermal fluctuation and exhibit a rather low glass transition temperature, presenting major challenge for SG research applications. Here, we report an unusual state in quaternary Fe-Co-Ni-Mn chemically complex alloys (CCAs). The exhibits ultrahigh freezing temperature above room well exceeding that conventional bulk SGs, as unique fast relaxation...
The Zika virus (ZIKV) is a mosquito-borne flavivirus that causes neonatal abnormalities and other disorders. Antibodies to the ZIKV envelope (E) protein can block infection. In this study, next-generation sequencing (NGS) of immunoglobulin heavy chain (IgH) mRNA transcripts was combined with single-cell PCR cloning E-binding monoclonal antibodies for analysing antibody response in patient from early stages infection more than one year after clearance virus. patient's IgH repertoire 14 64...
Online classes quickly became a hot topic in education during the effort to prevent and manage COVID-19 outbreak. This paper is of great value analyzing factors influencing online delivery from socially acceptable perspective, using DingTalk platform course as research target. The researchers this used questionnaire establish conceptual basis survey based on technology acceptance model (TAM), developed corresponding questions. was distributed 528 respondents, which 495 were valid data...
Using quantum Monte Carlo simulations, we study spin-1/2 diagonal ladders coupled by ferromagnetic Heisenberg interactions. The model can also be viewed as usual with rung couplings antiferromagnetic couplings. We show that the hosts a striped magnetic ordered phase and two topological nontrivial Haldane phases separated critical points. points are all in three-dimensional O(3) universality class irrelevant to properties of phases. surface formed ladder ends studied, showing states both...
Rhesus macaques (Macaca mulatta) are used as a human-relevant animal species for the evaluation of vaccines and source cloning monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) that highly similar to human-derived antibodies. Although antibody-secreting plasmablasts in humans well defined can be easily isolated mAb cloning, it remains unclear whether same phenotypic markers could applied isolating from Chinese rhesus macaques. In this study, we evaluated series cell surface intracellular identified...
We report a detailed study of tunneling spectra measured on $2\mathrm{H}\text{\ensuremath{-}}{\mathrm{Ta}}_{x}{\mathrm{Nb}}_{1\ensuremath{-}x}{\mathrm{Se}}_{2}$ ($x=0\ensuremath{\sim}0.1$) single crystals using low-temperature scanning microscope. The prominent gaplike feature, which has not been understood for long time, was found to be accompanied by some ``in-gap'' fine structures. By investigating the second-derivative and their temperature magnetic field dependencies, we were able prove...

The hosts an antiferromagnetic N\'eel phase, rung singlet product and topological nontrivial Haldane separated two phase transitions. We show that critical points are all in three-dimensional O(3) universality class. properties of gapped phases, including finite-size behavior string orders studied. surface ladder ends is gapless, while exposed along...

We report on scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy studies of the slightly underdoped cuprate superconductor ${\mathrm{HgBa}}_{2}{\mathrm{Ca}}_{2}{\mathrm{Cu}}_{3}{\mathrm{O}}_{8+\ensuremath{\delta}}$, which has an onset ${T}_{c}\ensuremath{\approx}120$ K. Disordered HgO-terminated surfaces were observed after sample cleaving in ultrahigh vacuum, revealing spatially inhomogeneous energy gaps with a low-lying $\mathsf{V}$-shaped structure ubiquitous mode features.
