Abstract Apatites, particularly calcium phosphate variants, play crucial roles in medicine and energy storage applications due to their unique crystallographic structures. The synthesis of these materials can be achieved through either wet or thermal methods, each which significantly impacts properties. Key factors such as crystallite size, morphology, chemical bonding a role determining potential applications. For instance, powders, type apatite, have been synthesized using both techniques....

The zinc acetate dihydrate and anhydrous chloride were used as precursors for the sonochemical preparation of oxide/vermiculite organically modified oxide/vermiculite_chlorhexidine nanocomposite materials. nanocomposites mechanically processed via a high-energy ball milling 30 min at 300 rpm using two types atmospheres an air or nitrogen. Changes in temperature pressure inside grinding vessels measured during mechanical processing atmosphere. ZnO(Cl)/V_30/300 sample reached highest (1161...

The present article describes a method of the preparation erbium oxide nanocrystallites (nano Er₂O₃) via thermal decomposition transient complex formed in situ from Er(NO₃)₃·5H₂O and glycine. Decomposition occurred at about (250±10) °C. Ultra-fine light pink powder was obtained this method. resulting were characterized using X-ray diffraction analysis, which showed having crystallite size equal to 10 nm. Morphology examined by scanning transmission electron microscopy. Electron observed...

The clay minerals are commonly used materials in pharmaceutical field both as inorganic excipients or active agents. We focused on the development of long-acting antimicrobial formula where act drug carries. Two series organoclay nanocomposites with increasing amount antifungal ciclopiroxolamine were successfully synthesized through intercalation reaction. In first case mineral vermiculite was supporting matrix and secondly bentonite used. structural characteristics all prepared samples...

Organically modified vermiculites can be used as nanostructured adsorbents of organic compounds from waters or gaseous phases similarly organically smectites bentonites. There is a large amount research data focused on adsorption properties organoclays, however only little information about their post-sorption treatment. This work study two possible ways subsequent processing organovermiculite after its use sorbent for heavily polluted waste water. At first, the vermiculite with...
