Insecurities and social isolation resulting from the COVID-19 restrictions, may have elevated tensions at home, consequently increasing risk of domestic violence. The present study aims to examine changes in prevalence, nature, type reporter violence following various restrictions implemented control spread virus Netherlands.
There have been worldwide concerns that the COVID-19 restrictions led to an increase in domestic violence. In this study authors examine violence advices registered by all 26 Veilig Thuis (Safe Home) regions Netherlands.
