Maize starch was acid hydrolyzed at 50–60°C for 6 hours. Reduced viscosity raw starch, (HS) and glucose were determined. DSC tests done to determine the melting point of modified starch. LDPE MFI 2 g/10 min blended with this various proportions 3–20% (wt%), photo-degradable additive – benzophenone (3%) glycerol as compatibilizer using a twin screw extruder. The formulations made HS easy processing since increased, added, proved be hydrolyzed, Tubular blown film extruded hydrolysed are...

Abstract AZ31 magnesium alloy sheets were processed at 250 °C and 300 by groove pressing, a severe plastic deformation technique to achieve grain refinement. The influence of processing temperature on the evolution microstructure, mechanical properties corrosion behavior was studied. Groove pressing significantly reduced size from 46 μm 6.5 temperature. With higher (300 °C), growth (11.4 μm) observed for alloy. Number twins appeared in pressed samples. Higher hardness tensile strength...
