The Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research (KSTAR) project is the major effort of national fusion programme Republic Korea. Its aim to develop a steady state capable advanced superconducting tokamak establish scientific and technological basis for an attractive reactor. parameters are: radius 1.8 m, minor 0.5 toroidal field 3.5 T plasma current 2 MA, with strongly shaped cross-section double null divertor. initial pulse length provided by poloidal magnet system 20 s, but can be...
The extensive design effort for KSTAR has been focused on two major aspects of the project mission - steady-state-operation capability and advanced tokamak physics. steady state aspect is reflected in choice superconducting magnets, provision actively cooled in-vessel components, long pulse current drive heating systems. incorporated features associated with flexible plasma shaping, double null divertor passive stabilizers, internal control coils a comprehensive set diagnostics. Substantial...
The HANBIT device is a non axi-symmetric mirror being operated as national users’ facility. Plasmas are routinely produced by ICRF at 3.5 MHz with slot antenna gas puffing and the line-integrated densities in range between 2×1012 1×1014 cm–2. pulse length normally 250 msec, but higher wall recycling happened usually after 100 msec into discharge. Characterization application of various methods conditioning have been performed. Ion heating had tried RF double half-turn antenna, however,...
The KSTAR (Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research) project is the major effort of Korean National Fusion Program to design, construct, and operate a steady-state-capable superconducting tokamak. led by Korea Basic Science Institute shared national laboratories, universities, industry along with international collaboration. It in conceptual design phase aims for first plasma mid 2002. key features are: radius 1.8 m, minor 0.5 toroidal field 3.5 T, current 2 MA, flexible shaping...
This article describes an efficient method for the simultaneous measurement of integrated reflectivity a crystal in multiple orders reflection at predefined Bragg angle by using bremsstrahlung continuum from x-ray tube combination with energy-sensitive detector. The technique is demonstrated mica angles 43°, 47°, and 50°. measured reflections up to 24th order compared theoretical predictions, which are also presented this article.
Hot electrons have been created in the plug section of Hanbit tandem mirror order to allow a test high-in ballooning stability provided by high-β hot-electron plasma mirror. A rectangular microwave cavity was built confine energy from 2-kW 14-GHz klystron. The equipped with diamagnetic loop, skimmer probe, and bremsstrahlung windows. An end-loss probe has added cusp study losses plug. contains Silicon PIN diode that is used detect x-rays fast striking tantalum radiator. scanned radially...
The purpose of this paper is to set evaluation indicators for performance improvement T-50 aircraft and derive priorities items. To end, study first sets based on case analysis general business factors, secondly, Delphi confirms through expert consensus statistical verification. Finally, the priority items derived pairwise comparison between using previously confirmed AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process). results are great significance in that it possible select projects be promoted future...
Remote unlocking for Android devices may benefit both users and manufacturers. Users can continue using the device without factory-resetting when they unexpectedly forget their passphrases. Manufacturers improve non-face-to-face customer services in COVID-19 era. Nevertheless, not many manufacturers support remote devices. If service is triggered by requests over-the-air, it increase attack surface of security. security hardware-based (e.g., hardware-backed Keystore), so we seek to preserve...
