This paper presents heat flux simulations for the ELMy H-mode on Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST) using a six-field two-fluid model in BOUT++. Three EAST discharges with different plasma currents I p and geometries are studied. The trend of scrape-off layer width is reproduced by simulation. simulated only half that derived from scaling law, but agrees well international multi-machine law. Note there no radio-frequency (RF) heating scheme simulations, RF can change...

An electronic nose system for storage environments was built. The would consist of sensor array, data acquisition module and host computer software. made up with eight metal-oxide-semiconductor gas sensors used to test four types stone fruit (Dragon fruit, Snow pear, Kiwi Fuji apple). results showed that the rate corruption kiwifruit fastest, followed by pitaya, apples pears comparable. tested fruits can be divided into fresh spoiled grades using PCA. And finally, according problems related...

A corona discharge (CD) ionization source was prepared for a planar high-field asymmetric waveform ion mobility spectrometer (FAIMS). The effects of current and distance on efficiency were investigated; the electric field dependence injection in reaction region studied. results showed that CD had good linearity with intensity reactant peak (RIP), RIP increased to stable level at >5 mm. An electrode introduced improve efficiency. square-wave voltage applied found provide optimal performance...

A simple and rapid method using a microhotplate-based preconcentrator an ion mobility spectrometer (IMS) is proposed for the detection of malathion in water. The prepared by micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS) process. Coated with Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), it has advantages solvent-less, low energy cost, self-heating ease to combine IMS. operating conditions preconcentrator-IMS system, such as extraction time, temperature, agitation speed desorption were optimised. Using...

A low-cost differential mobility spectrometer (DMS) was constructed using polytetrafluoroethylene printed circuit boards with two pairs of gold electrodes. The were used to construct the drift tube into which gas samples are introduced by a carrier and ionized. ionized moves toward electrode an asymmetric voltage is applied. Only proper ion leaves region reach detection electrodes form current. Traces five chemical warfare agents, including dimethyl methylphosphonate, triethylamine,...
