We discuss a source model for the origin of solar type IV burst fine structures (FS) using data an event in AR 7792 on 25 October 1994. After giving comprehensive observational treatment FS (Paper I), here we repeat main observed facts to construct simplified radio model. It consists two interacting loops (named LS1 and EL) with one spatial order magnitude scale difference (turning heights 70 7 Mm). consider implications this physical mechanisms broad band pulsations (BBP) zebra patterns...
The fine structures (FS) of solar type IV radio bursts are principal interest for flare plasma diagnostics in the low corona. In this paper we give an observational (Part I) and theoretical (Paper II) treatment broad band pulsations (BBP) zebra patterns (ZP) a well observed flaring sigmoidal loop system AR 7792 on 25 October 1994. We present comprehensive meter-decimeter spectral (Astrophysical Institute Potsdam, AIP) meter wave heliographic (Nançay Radio Heliograph Paris-Meudon Observatory,...
Planets that are embedded in the changing magnetic fields of their host stars can experience significant induction heating interiors caused by planet's orbital motion. For to be substantial, planetary orbit has inclined with respect stellar rotation and dipole axes. Using WX~UMa, for which axes aligned, as an example, we show close-in planets on orbits, stronger than tidal occurring inside Jupiter's satellite Io; namely, it generate a surface heat flux exceeding 2\,W\,m$^{-2}$. An internal...
An intense radio flare on the dMe star AD Leo, observed with Effelsberg telescope and spectrally resolved in a band of 480 MHz centred at 4.85 GHz is analysed. A lower limit brightness temperature totally right handed polarized emission estimated as T_b ~ 5x10^10 K (with values > ~3x10^13 considered to be more probable), which requires coherent process. In interpretation we favour fundamental plasma radiation by mildly relativistic electrons trapped hot dense coronal loop above electron...
Aims. We interpret long-periodic (minutes) modulations detected in solar microwave emission during flaring events as signatures of large-scale transverse oscillations coronal loops.
