Object-oriented programming is well-suited to such data-intensive application domains as CAD/CAM, AI, and OIS (office information systems) with multimedia documents. At MCC we have built a prototype object-oriented database system, called ORION. It adds persistence sharability objects created manipulated in applications implemented an environment. One of the important requirements these schema evolution, that is, ability dynamically make wide variety changes schema. In this paper, following...
Presented in this paper is the data model for ORION, a prototype database system that adds persistence and sharability to objects created manipulated object-oriented applications. The ORION consolidates modifies number of major concepts found many systems, such as objects, classes, class lattice, methods, inheritance. These are reviewed three enhancements conventional model, namely, schema evolution, composite versions, elaborated upon. Schema evolution ability dynamically make changes...

MapReduce is a programming model which extensively used for large-scale data analysis. The join operation one of the essential operations However, not very efficient to perform since it always processes all records in datasets even cases that only small fraction are relevant operation. We alleviate this problem by applying bloomjoin algorithm, classic distributed algorithm. improve performance using Bloom filters MapReduce. In our approach, constructed fashion and filter out redundant...
A 1.0 V 8 Gbit LPDDR4 SDRAM with 3.2 Gbps/pin speed and integrated ECC engine for sub-1 DRAM core is presented. internal read-modify-write operation data masked write makes the possible in a commodity DRAM. Time interleaved latency IO control circuits enable at target speed. To reach Gbps improved power efficiency over conventional mobile DRAMs, following features are introduced: Low voltage swing terminated logic drivers VOH level calibration periodic ZQ calibration, unmatched DQ/DQS scheme...
RDF is widely used as an ontology language for representing the metadata in Semantic Web, knowledge management system and E-commerce. Since ontologies model a particular domain, they may change over time. Furthermore, are usually developed controlled distributed collaborative way. Thus, it very important to be able manage multiple versions data. Earlier studies on have focused providing accesses different (i.e. snapshots) computing differences between those two versions. However, existing...
The recent revolution in handheld computing with high-speed cellular network made mobile processors have multi-cores and powerful 3D graphic engines that support FHD (1920×1080) or even higher resolutions. Consequently, the memory bandwidth requirement has also been increasing, requiring a next-generation DRAM standard. In this paper, we present power-efficient LPDDR4 SDRAM operating at 3.2Gb/s/pin. Our offers 2× improved power efficiency over LPDDR3 SDRAM's, due to 2-channel architecture...
Forward traversal methods are used to process queries having nested predicates in object-oriented databases. To expedite the forward traversal, a signature replication technique is proposed. Object formed by values of all atomic attributes defined object. When an object refers other objects through its attribute, referred stored into referring Using signatures, can be checked without inspecting objects.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"...
Keywords have played an important role not only for searchers who formulate a query, but also search engines that index documents and evaluate the query. Recently, tags chosen by users to annotate web resources are gaining significance improving information retrieval (IR) tasks, in they can act as meaningful keywords bridging gap between humans machines. One critical aspect of tagging (besides tag resource) is user (or tagger); there exists ternary relationship among tag, resource, user. The...
In this paper, targeting del.icio.us tag data, we propose a method, FolksoViz, for deriving subsumption relationships between tags by using Wikipedia texts, and visualizing folksonomy. To fulfill statistical model based on the frequency of each as well TSD (Tag Sense Disambiguation) method mapping to corresponding text. The derived pairs are visualized effectively screen. experiment shows that FolksoViz manages find correct with high accuracy.
While advanced analysis of large dataset is in high demand, data sizes have surpassed capabilities conventional software and hardware. Hadoop framework distributes datasets over multiple commodity servers performs parallel computations. We discuss the I/O bottlenecks propose methods for enhancing performance. A proven approach to cache maximize memory-locality all map tasks. introduce an optimize I/O, in-node combining design which extends traditional combiner a node level. The reduces total...
Tagging is one of the most popular services in Web 2.0. As a special form tagging, social tagging done collaboratively by many users, which forms so-called folksonomy. has become widespread on Web, tag vocabulary now very informal, uncontrolled, and personalized. For this reason, tags are unfamiliar ambiguous to users so that they fail understand meaning each tag. In paper, we propose sense disambiguating method, called disambiguation (TSD), works environment. TSD can be applied tags,...
Recent studies on change detection for RDF data have focused minimizing the delta size and, as a way to exploit semantics of models in reducing size, forward-chaining inferences been widely employed. However, since should pre-compute entire closure model, existing approaches are not scalable large sets. In this paper, we propose scheme data, which is based backward-chaining inference and pruning. Our scheme, instead pre-computing full closure, computes only necessary fly, thus achieving fast...
A dual-band dual-polarized microstrip antenna array for an advanced multi-function radio function concept (AMRFC) radar application operating at S and X-bands is proposed. Two stacked planar arrays with three different thin substrates (RT/Duroid 5880 <TEX>$\varepsilon_r$</TEX>=2.2 thicknesses of 0.253 mm, 0.508 mm 0.762 mm) are integrated to provide simultaneous operation band (3~3.3 GHz) X (9~11 GHz). To allow similar scan ranges both bands, the S-band elements selected as perforated...
