Abstract This study investigates the short- and long-run impact of infrastructure on export trade deficit in selected South Asian countries during 1990–2017 by using Pooled Mean Group (PMG) estimator cointegration techniques like Pedroni Kao test. The empirical results PMG approach confirmed existence significant aggregate sub-indices (i.e., transport, telecommunication, energy financial sector) deficit. findings suggested that positively promotes exports while negatively affecting...
The digital economy continuously injects new momentum into the traditional and has become an important driving force for national economic development. Against this backdrop using input-output data from WIOD 2002 to 2014, paper empirically analyzes impact of development on domestic value-added rate Chinese manufacturing industry exports mechanism underlying relationship. results show that (1) input significantly promotes growth in exports, (2) mainly increases intermediate-product (3) a...
This article investigates the bidirectional causal relationship between outbound foreign direct investment (ODI) and export sophistication in China by using autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) techniques. The findings detect cointegration ODI. empirical evidence supports that ODI strongly promotes weakly encourages Chinese to go out global. nexus is good news for enhance quality of exports catch-up on developed economies. control variables trade openness, human capital institutions improve...
This study empirically analyzes various implications of the COVID-19 pandemic in China and trading partner countries on China's exports by constructing an econometric model using data from its 21 (regions) January 2019 to August 2020. The results show that (1) has a significant negative effect export trade, (2) situations regions generate positive effects total exports, (3) situation heterogeneous impact different partners.
In this work, we evaluate the energy spectra of baryons which consist two heavy and one light quarks in MIT bag model. The constitute a scalar or axial vector diquark. Concretely, calculate $|q(QQ')>_{1/2}$ $|q(QQ')>_{3/2}$ where $Q$ $Q'$ stand for $b$ and/or $c$ quarks. Especially, $|q(bc)>_{1/2}$ there can be mixing between $|q(bc)_0>_{1/2}$ $|q(bc)_1>_{1/2}$ subscripts 0 1 refer to spin state diquark (bc), is not calculable framework quantum mechanics (QM) as potential model employed, but...
Introduction Traditional modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) cannot meet the preservation requirements of winter jujube, and high respiration rate characteristics jujube will produce an component with CO 2 concentration in traditional MAP. Micro-perforated MAP is suitable for due to its permeability, which can effectively remove excess supply O . In this study, a microporous film system that be quickly applied was developed, namely PMP-MAP (precise micro-perforated packaging). An experiment...
This research, by using the autoregressive distributive lag method, examines long- and short-term causal relationship between infrastructure exports in Pakistan over period 1990–2017. The empirical results revealed existence of short- long-term bi-directional causality concerning export Pakistan. demonstrated that strongly improves short long run. Conversely, encourages quality availability Furthermore, this study also uses sub-indices individually as dependent independent variables. result...
China's economic policy uncertainty (EPU) and firms' outward foreign direct investment (OFDI) research operates at the unitary level lacks structural foundations of binary margins. Thus, given COVID-19 pandemic, this study employs gravity model to examine impact EPU on OFDI margins, using data from first quarter 2012 third 2020. Accordingly, inhibits extensive intensive margins significantly. Moreover, COVID-induced has no significant margin but positively impacts margin, indicating...
Fruits and vegetables are highly susceptible to spoilage, effective postharvest packaging technology can significantly extend their shelf life of fruits vegetables. Many studies have shown that the use electrospinning encapsulate natural bioactive compounds, including plant extracts, metals, metal oxides, in active effectively Electrospun films characteristics a large specific surface area, high porosity, non-thermal processing, which improve encapsulation efficiency slow-release performance...
Cross-border M&A experience learning is a dynamic accumulation process for firms, so does it have an impact on innovation? Using sample of Chinese cross-border firms from 2009-2020, the study explores role firm innovation. It found that significantly favors corporate Channel tests demonstrate contributes to innovation by alleviating enterprise growth pressure and enhancing resource competitiveness. We also reveal R&D manipulation hampers facilitate Heterogeneity analyses show promoting...
Abstract This paper investigates the mechanisms and effects of international transport corridors on growth China's environmental goods exports. Using bilateral data between Chinese provinces their trading partners, this study treats opening China–Europe Railway Express (CRE) as a quasi‐experiment employs staggered difference‐in‐differences method for empirical testing. The results show that CRE has promoted was driven by increased demand in market, diversified export goods, stimulated...
In this work, we employ the effective vertices for interaction between diquarks (scalar or axial-vector) and gluon where form factors are derived in terms of B-S equation, to obtain potential baryons including a light quark heavy diquark. The concerned phenomenological parameters obtained by fitting data $B^{(*)}-$mesons instead quarkonia. operator ordering problem quantum mechanics is discussed. Our numerical results indicate that mass splitting $B_{3/2}(V), B_{1/2}(V)$ $B_{1/2}(S)$ very...
Various $E1$ transition rates for $\ensuremath{\psi}(3770)$ and other $c\overline{c}$ states are calculated in a QCD-motivated potential model. Relativistic corrections found to be substantial. While good agreement between theory experiment is achieved the of $\ensuremath{\psi}(2S)\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}{\ensuremath{\chi}}_{\mathrm{cJ}}$ ${\ensuremath{\chi}}_{\mathrm{cJ}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\gamma}\ensuremath{\psi}(1S)$ ($J=0, 1, 2$),...
This paper empirically analyzes the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on economic sentiment by constructing an econometric model using monthly data from 36 countries December 2019 to October 2020. The results this study show: (1) After outbreak pandemic, fluctuated greatly, and even turned pessimistic. (2) It has a significant negative sentiment. (3) It, however, substantial positive consumer confidence, major industrial no services confidence.
Purpose Over the past two decades, China’s outward foreign direct investment (OFDI) has risen remarkably. Whether such an increase affects Chinese export diversification (ED) is a significant issue that surprisingly remained unaddressed. This study aims to explain this how OFDI plays vital role in symmetric and asymmetric effects on its ED. Design/methodology/approach The authors introduce robust nonlinear autoregressive distributed lag (NARDL) model. Ironically, purpose of analyze effect...
