Carbon dioxide (CO2) is often used as a process fluid in oil and gas reservoirs for enhancing the recovery. The interfacial tension of CO2 with hydrocarbons an important thermophysical property design such processes. systematical measurements equilibrium tensions systems (CO2 + single n-alkane) are currently scarce. In this work, 11 binary were measured by pendant drop method at temperatures (323.15 353.15) K. carbon number n-alkane ranged from 10 to 20. influences temperature, pressure,...
With the large-scale promotion and application of CO2 flooding, more engineering problems have emerged. Due to high mole fraction, associated gas flooding very easily forms solid hydrates, compared conventional natural gas. This has resulted in production decline or shutdown. Understanding phase equilibrium conditions for hydrate formation fluids is crucial prevention control. In this study, accurate predictions CO2-CH4 mixed were performed using theoretical models. The temperature pressure...
In this study, HBGS (Hydrate-based gas separation) was used for CO2 capture from flue gas, and 19%THF (tetrahydrofuran) to accelerate hydrate formation by enhancing the rate lowing equilibrium condition. The experiment carried out several cycles in porous media MRI (magnetic resonance imaging). It found that solution concentrate phenomenon occurred under influence of THF, which also effected dissociation. Solution movements could be observed after cycles. A higher pressure better formation....
Polymeric 1-vinyl-3-ethylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ionic liquids modified microspheres of silica gel were prepared by free radical polymerization in toluene. Characterization with Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), elemental analysis, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), permeation chromatography (GPC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and 13C, 29Si magic angle spinning (MAS) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) demonstrated that had successfully loaded...
CO2-N2-mixture injection can be used for the exploitation and reformation of natural gas hydrate reservoirs. The permeability evolution sediments in presence CO2-N2 is very important. In current tests, hydrate-bearing sediment formed from mixture rarely involved. this work, was mixtures, a constant flow method employed to measure sediments. effects CO2 mole fraction saturation on were investigated. results show that composition key factor affecting formation. Hydrate increases with...
Abstract The positive- and negative-ion electrospray ionization (ESI) coupled with Fourier transform-ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (FT-ICR MS) was employed to identify the chemical composition of heteroatomic compounds in four distillates Fushun shale oil, their catalytic cracking performance investigated. There are nine classes basic nitrogen (BNCs) eleven non-basic (NBHCs) different distillates. dominant BNCs mainly N1 class species. NBHCs acidic O2 O1 species 300–350 °C,...
In this paper, a novel propylene production route is proposed. Hydrotreated shale oil was first used as feedstock for fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) to increase the yield because of its abundant aliphatic hydrocarbons. The performance hydrotreated investigated in detail via two-stage riser (TMP). results pilot-plant-scale TMP indicated that blended with 30 wt % Daqing vacuum residue could not only maximize but also showed more desirable product distribution than conventional FCC feedstock....
