In early 2020, the COVID-19 epidemic spread globally. This study investigated air quality of three cities in Hubei Province, Wuhan, Jingmen, and Enshi, central China, from January to March 2017–2020 analyze impact prevention control actions on quality. Both the air quality index (AQI) and indicatory pollutants of Anqing, Hefei, Suzhou near central China from 2017 to 2019, impact COVID-19 epidemic prevention control actions on were investigated.
