In this work, a new type of hyper-crosslinked phosphate-based polymer (HCPP) polymerized by bis(2-methacryloxyethyl)phosphate has been developed for uranium and rare earth element (REE) extraction in an aqueous solution. The influence the pH value, contact time, initial concentration, temperature, competing ions on adsorption HCPP is investigated detail. exhibits maximum capacity up to 800 mg g–1 at = 6.0 excellent selectivity toward over coexisting ions, because high affinity between dense...

The electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction (eNRR) has emerged as a promising strategy for green ammonia synthesis. However, it suffers unsatisfactory performance owing to the low aqueous solubility of N2 in solution, high dissociation energy N≡N, and unavoidable competing hydrogen evolution (HER). Herein, MIL-53(Fe)@TiO2 catalyst is designed synthesized highly efficient eNRR. Relative simple MIL-53(Fe), achieves 2-fold enhancement Faradaic efficiency (FE) with an improved yield rate by...

Effects of processing parameters on preheated (heat-assisted) clinching process to join aluminum alloy 5052-H32 (AA5052) and thermoplastic carbon-fiber-reinforced-plastic (TP-CFRP) sheets for cross-tension (CT) specimens were first studied. Preheating was critical since brittle TP-CFRP could be softened avoid fracturing or cracking during process. Four parameters, including punching force, die depth, heating mode, temperature, considered. Quasi-static tests microscope observations taken...

Abstract Disease–disease relationships (e.g., disease comorbidities) play crucial roles in pathobiological manifestations of diseases and personalized approaches to managing those conditions. In this study, we develop a network-based methodology, termed meta-path-based Disease Network (mpDisNet) capturing algorithm, infer disease–disease by assembling four biological networks: disease–miRNA, miRNA–gene, disease–gene, the human protein–protein interactome. mpDisNet is random walk reconstruct...

The hierarchically porous Co/C foam with low density has been successfully prepared by a facile sequential process of foaming–lyophilization–carbonization. In the hierarchical structure, macro- and mesoscopic pores are created surfactant-assisted foaming lyophilization processes, while nanoscale spring from etching reaction between gelatin-derived carbon metal oxides during high-temperature carbonization. By adjustment carbonization temperature loading as-prepared absorbent, maximum...

Abstract Anisotropic actuation, a universal phenomenon in nature, may be inspiring for the development of intelligent soft robotics future. For dielectric elastomers (DEs), important investigations have been done to decrease voltage and increase actuation strain. However, mechanical isotropy synthetic DEs shows in‐plane uniform deformation, lacking controllability direction. Herein, an anisotropic DE (denoted as ADE) is constructed by casting Ecoflex/BaTiO 3 solution onto oriented TPU...

Abstract Graphene composites possess great application potential in various fields including flexible electrodes, wearable sensors and biomedical devices owing to their excellent mechanical electrical properties. However, it remains challenging fabricate graphene composites-based with high consistency due the gradual aggression effect of during fabrication process. In this work, we report the discovery of a new Ni-based quasi-one-dimensional selenide: Cs0.9Ni3.1Se3. This compound adopts TlFe3Te3-type structure with space group P63/ m, which consists infinite [Ni3Se3] chains face-sharing Ni6 octahedra along c direction. The lattice parameters are calculated as = 9.26301(4) Å and 4.34272(2) Å, Ni-Ni distance in ab plane 2.582(3) suggesting formation metallic bond compound. Interestingly, it has been found that Cs0.9Ni3.1Se3 is nonstoichiometric,...

Traditional methods of analyzing genes mainly focus on a single gene. However, they are time consuming, costly, and neglect the interaction between genes. To overcome shortcomings traditional methods, many computational techniques have been proposed for gene analysis. Computational posit that forms network.
