Abstract This study presented a refining process and reported on fatty acid composition the physicochemical properties of oil from black soldier fly larvae (BSFL). Crude was purified through four steps consisting degumming, neutralization, bleaching, deodorization. Optimum degumming conditions that give highest phospholipid weight consisted water concentration 7% (v/v), followed by addition H 2 SO 4 at 0.5% (v/v). for saponification maximize value free (FFA) were 0.4 mg NaOH/100 g oil, 1...

Grape pomace, a major by-product of the wine and juice industries, presents considerable potential for extracting valuable bioactive compounds. This study aimed to optimize extraction process using deep eutectic solvents composed choline chloride lactic acid. The focused on three key factors: solvent-to-material ratio, temperature, time, employing response surface methodology with central composite design. results showed that optimal conditions were achieved at ratio 25:1 (v · w-1), an...

This article investigates the stability of oil – in water double emulsions (sunflower oil/water/palm oil) with various concentrations (40-50-60%, w/w) presence some biopolymers. Double were prepared using Ultra Turrax homogenizer followed by fast crystallization. The results study revealed high O/W/O at 5 °C can be achieved combining sodium caseinate (SC), k-carrageenan (KC) soy lecithin. appropriate time for cold homogenization is 15 minutes speed 5000 rpm.

Peristrophe bivalvis (L.) Merr. (Acanthaceae) is a Vietnamese herb that rich in anthocyanin, natural colorant. However, the common extraction methods for this pigment often accompany with presence of contaminated compounds. This study, therefore, focused on applying aqueous two-phase system (ATPS), green method extracting and purifying anthocyanin leaf extract. The obtained results revealed an ATPS composing from ethanol ammonium sulfate concentrations 32.5% 25%, respectively, can recover...

Abstract Coffee pulp, the major by‐product of beverage industry, is considered as an environmental threat, but also possesses high amounts bioactive compounds. The extraction these compounds by using conventional methods and solvents usually accompanies impurities. Here, aqueous two‐phase system (ATPS) was optimized to extract purify polyphenols from coffee pulp. Key affecting factors include phase composition (ethanol ammonium sulfate), time temperature while quality product evaluated based...
