The palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of iodinanes (iodonium salts and iodanes) with organoboron compounds to form carbon-carbon bonds was achieved at ambient temperature under aqueous conditions in the absence base. Coupling phenylboronic acid diphenyliodonium tetrafluoroborate presence Pd(PPh(3))(4) (0.2 mol %) or Pd(OAc)(2) gave biphenyl almost quantitative yield. Under same conditions, substituted boronic acids, boronates, trialkylboranes were readily coupled diaryl-, alkenyl-,...

Abstract This paper is concerned with the accurate and stable finite element analysis of large amplitude liquid sloshing in two‐dimensional tank under forced excitation. The flow formulated as an initial‐boundary‐value problem based upon fully non‐linear potential theory. velocity field interpolated from second‐order elements according to least square method, free surface conditions are tracked by making use direct time differentiation predictor–corrector method. Meanwhile, mesh adapted such...
Abstract A wet‐road braking distance estimate for the vehicles equipped with ABS (anti‐lock brake system) is presented in this paper. The entire speed interval at divided into several uniform sub‐intervals, and energy conservation law applied to individual sub‐intervals predict intervalwise times resulting velocity profile total distance. proposed method based on a numerical‐analytical approach such that frictional loss of patterned tire computed by 3‐D hydroplaning analysis while other disc...
The ligand-free Pd(OAc)2-catalysed coupling reaction of aryl-, alkenyl- and alkynyl-iodonium tetraflouroborate iodanes with terminal alkynes proceeds readily in the presence NaHCO2 aqueous medium to afford substituted high yields under mild conditions.
SUMMARY This paper is concerned with the numerical calculation of stress intensity factors in two‐dimensional linear fracture problems by Petrov–Galerkin natural element method, for which Voronoi polygon‐based Laplace interpolation functions and constant strain finite basis are taken trial test functions, respectively. A local patch recovery technique employed to obtain more accurate smoothed fields, edge angled center cracks calculated both J ‐integral interaction integral methods. The...
Abstract The palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling of organostannanes with iodonium salts in the presence PdCl2(0.5 mol %) or Pd/C(2 as Pd(O) source was accomplished at room temperature under aqueous conditions.
Duchenne's muscular dystrophy (DMD) is an X-linked recessive disease. Clinical descriptions of the disorder focus principally on skeletal muscle degeneration. Another manifestation, which involves gastrointestinal tract, may be fatal. But its prevalence remains undefined. We report here a case acute gastroparesis associated with dystrophy. In our case, patient's symptoms were improved by prokinetic agents and timely decompression in life-threatening gastric dilatation.
