Additions of 0. 5 to 2. 0 mol% CoO or MnO 2 onto SnO promote densification this oxide up 99% theoretical density. The temperature the maximum shrinkage rate ( T M ) and relative density in (p*) during constant sintering heating depend on dopant concentration. Thus, concentration controls densifying nondensifying mechanisms sintering. witih addition is explained terms creation oxygen vacancies.

PbO‐BiO 1.5 ‐GaO ‐based glasses are good candidates for optical applications, because of some their interesting characteristics, such as high refraction indices and transmission in the ultraviolet (UV), visible (VIS), infrared (IR) regions. A limited stage processing these is corrosion that caused by melt all currently used conventional crucibles, noble metals (platinum or gold) Al 2 O 3 . The absorption crucible material glass composition may reduce level, cutoff UV‐VIS, IR regions, thermal...

This report discusses important microstructural features of SnO2.MnO-based polycrystalline ceramics. The influence the sintering time and concentration donor Nb2O5 on microstructure these ceramics are investigated, correlation between nonohmic behavior also discussed. High resolution analytical electron microscopy was used for a detailed characterization grain boundary chemistry compositions, revealing that SnO2-MnO dense consist two phases, SnO2 grains Mn2SnO4, precipitated mainly at triple...

Abstract Tin oxide is an n-type semiconductor material with a high covalent behavior. Mass transport in this depends on the surface state promoted by atmosphere or solid solution of non-isovalent doping. The sintering and grain growth type powder then controlled extrinsic oxygen vacancy formation. For pure SnO2 only interaction molecules surface. Inert like argon helium promotes formation at due to reduction SnO liberation forming vacancies. As consequence diffusion enhanced leading...

Pure SnO2 sintering was studied by constant heating rate and isothermal sintering. The study showed no macroscopic shrinkage during the process up to 1500 ºC. Pore size distribution measurements, using gas desorption, grain crystallite measurements of isothermally sintered samples formation non-densifying microstructures process. These results are a strong indication that densification prevented thermodynamic factors, mainly high ratio gammaGB/gSV. An explanation, based on nature covalent...

ABSTRACT Topology optimization (TO) is a mathematical method that optimizes part’s layout, maintaining the project’s spatial constraints, considering loads, boundary conditions, and manufacturing to maximize its performance. Through mesh analysis, non-essential areas in structure are identified, allowing efficient material removal without compromising integrity. However, it not usual use TO changing part focusing only on removing internal mass, as done this paper. Therefore, two sets of...
