Renewable energy systems are technologies that can generate electricity from solar, wind, hydroelectric, biomass, and other renewable resources. This research project aims to find the best technology combinations for several scenarios in Malaysia. The strategies analysed by evaluating investments each of decided Malaysia, Pekan, Pahang Mersing, Johor, using HOMER Pro software. finding shows PV–wind hybrid system has a better net present cost (NPC) than both scenarios, which USD −299,762.16...
Solar enhanced natural draft dry cooling tower (SENDDCT) is a novel heat rejection device for thermal power plant, which uses solar energy to reheat the air after exchanger and therefore improves ventilation of performance enhancement. This paper develops 3-D models compare effects circular/sawtooth arrangements on 140 m high SENDDCT. The result shows that sawtooth arrangement can improve dissipation rate SENDDCTs. Under no crosswind condition, flow field distributions circular are similar...
Dissolved gas analysis (DGA) is vital to status evaluation of power transformers. In this study, a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) sensor was fabricated and applied DGA. Then, chromatographic system developed on basis the SOFC detector. From Nernst function SOFC, mathematical model based oxygen consumption accumulation (OCA) has been proposed quantify trace gases dissolved in oil. Based OCA concentration can be calculated though chromatogram directly, no calibrating needed, thereby greatly...
