Measurements were made at eight predetermined positions on 627 sets of angiograms from 293 patients with aneurysms. A ratio between the sum vessel diameters in subarachnoid space to base skull and neck was calculated plotted against time. Vasospasm has its onset man about Day 3 after hemorrhage, is maximal Days 6 8, gone by 12. There a tendency for poor clinical grades have more vasospasm. The most vasospasm significantly higher mortality than those least.
