Two new furan and benzochalcogenodiazole based monomers, namely 4,7-di(furan-2-yl)benzo[c][1,2,5]selenadiazole (FSeF) 4,7-di(furan-2-yl)benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole (FSF), were designed synthesized via a donor–acceptor–donor approach. The monomers electrochemically polymerized potentiodynamic or potentiostatic methods. their polymers exhibited lower oxidation potentials (1.16 V 1.06 for monomers; 0.93 0.80 vs. Ag/AgCl) red shifts of the whole dual-band absorption spectra upon moving from S to...
Chromite recovery was studied using a magnetic carrier technology. Heavy media grade magnetite used as the carrier. The effect of various reagents such sodium oleate (NaOl) collector and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) well quebracho tannin depressants on chromite removal investigated. effects pH reagent dosages were also determined. First, zeta potential measurements performed for different minerals in absence presence NaOl, then tests carried out under conditions based measurements. case...
Abstract In the present study, effect of grinding media shape on breakage parameters was investigated. Balls and cylpebs were used as media. It observed that quartz obeyed first‐order kinetics in case balls cylpebs. Higher rates noted with than balls. Furthermore, it found primary distribution function is dependent feed size (i.e., non‐normalizable), but independent shape. The time product has also been Following four ten minute grindings, produced a relatively finer compared to
In this study, possible separation of chromite from serpentine in fine sizes using a magnetic carrier was investigated as function pH, dodecylamine (DDA) dosage, and amount magnetite. First, the zeta potentials minerals were determined absence presence DDA, then experiments performed conditions based upon potential results. Experiments revealed that could be separated with 96.8% recovery under experimental 4 x 10−4 M 25 mg magnetite, at pH 12. case artificial mixtures minerals, concentrate...
ABSTRACT In this work, 3 ‐amino phenyl boronic acid (AB) was used as an aniline derivative in the preparation of polybenzoxazine based on phenol. order to investigate effect thermal characteristics, polybenzoxazines pure and 50% AB mixture were also prepared analyzed. Significant improvements increase stability char yield, recorded for polymers or its mixture. This behavior associated with crosslinked structures generated by condensation reactions BOH groups. Morphologic characteristics...
Coal obtained from the Catalagzi thermal power station was prepared into a −2360 +1700 µm mono size fraction and ground for different times in laboratory-scale stirred media mill. The breakage behavior investigated an attempt made to determine optimum grinding conditions. Three stirring rates (1440, 720, 360 rpm) three ball sizes (6, 4, 2.36 mm) were utilized studies. It determined that effective not only mill's mechanical properties but also material have be taken consideration order...
The kinetics of batch dry grinding ceramic raw materials, which are quartz, kaolin and K-feldspar, from the feeds sieve sizes −3·350+2·360, −2·360+1·400, −1·400+0·850, −0·850+0·600, −0·500+0·425 −0·300+0·212 mm have been determined using a Bond mill with mixture five ball sizes. used was size 30·5 cm diameter, length, providing total volume 22 272 cm3 mass 648 g steel mixtures 38·10, 31·75, 25·40, 19·05 12·70 diameters, occupying 22% speed rotation 70 rpm. specific rates breakage (Si)...
AbstractChiral sulfoxides are used in asymmetric synthesis and present various biologically active compounds. Asymmetric of the has been performed by chiral metal complexes non-metals containing peroxide oxide moieties. In this study, a new free method developed to oxidize thioanisole into methyl phenyl sulfoxide with easily accessible compounds carrying N-Cl bond. For purpose, amine amide bearing reagents were synthesized chlorinated using N-chlorosuccinimide. oxidation reactions,...
The kinetics of batch grinding and heat treated ulexite using different size fractions (-3350+2360, -2360+1700, -1700+1180, 1180+850, -850+600, -600+425, -425+300, -300+212 - 212+150 micrometers was determined a standard Bond ball mill. It found that breakage follows the first order behavior for all feed sizes with correlation coefficients equal to ap- proximately 98%. dry single-sized fraction treatment showed samples were ground much faster than original samples.
In the present study, effect of grinding charge on kinetics was investigated. Balls and cylpebs were used as charges for comparison. Quartz chosen a reference sample because it follows first order kinetics. It found that quartz obeyed breakage in case balls cylpebs. Cylpebs produced faster rates than ball under same mass surface area conditions. addition, differences between more significant coarse size fractions fine fractions.
