As a cation-deficient, p-type semiconductor, copper sulfide (Cu(2-x)S) shows promise for applications such as photovoltaics, memristors, and plasmonics. However, these demand precise tuning of the crystal phase well stoichiometry Cu(2-x)S, an ongoing challenge in synthesis Cu(2-x)S materials specific application. Here, detailed transformation diagram cation-exchange (CE) chemistry from cadmium (CdS) into nanowires (NWs) is reported. By varying reaction time reactants' concentration ratio,...

The insufficient oxygen reduction reaction activity of cathode materials is one the main obstacles to decreasing operating temperature solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). Here, we report a Zn-doped perovskite Ba0.5Sr0.5(Co0.8Fe0.2)0.96Zn0.04O3-δ (BSCFZ) as SOFC cathode, which exhibits much higher electrocatalytical than Ba0.5Sr0.5Co0.8Fe0.2O3-δ (BSCF) for (ORR). BSCFZ exhibited polarization resistance only 0.23 and 0.03 Ω·cm2 on symmetrical cell at 600 750 °C, respectively. corresponding maximum...

In this work we are inspired to explore gold nanoclusters supported on mesoporous CeO2 nanospheres as nanocatalysts for the reduction of nitrobenzene. Ultrasmall Au (NCs) and were readily synthesized well characterized. Due their ultrasmall size, as-prepared clusters can be easily absorbed into mesopores nanospheres. Owing unique structure support, in Au@CeO2 may effectively prevent aggregation which usually results a rapid decay catalytic activity. It is notable that possess uniform size...

Abstract The turnover of soil organic carbon (SOC) is primarily regulated by extracellular enzymes secreted the microorganism. However, how C‐decomposition respond to different land use change remains unclear. Here, we conducted a study explore seasonal variations in enzyme activities including hydrolases (α‐glucosidase, β‐glucosidase, cellobiohydrolase, and β‐xylosidase) oxidases (polyphenol oxidase peroxidase) woodland, shrubland, cropland, adjacent uncultivated soils central China. Stomata are leaf pores that regulate gas exchange and water transpiration in response to environmental cues. They also function innate immunity by limiting pathogen entry through actively closing so-called stomatal defense. However, roles of stomata plant disease resistance not fully elucidated, especially monocots.
