The carbon storage regulator gene csrA has been shown previously to dramatically affect the biosynthesis of intracellular glycogen in Escherichia coli through its negative control expression two biosynthetic operons and gluconeogenic pckA (Romeo, T., Gong, M., Liu, M. Y., Brun-Zinkernagel, A. M.(1993) J. Bacteriol. 175, 4744-4755). Examination effects on several enzymes, genes, metabolites central carbohydrate metabolism now establishes a more extensive role for directing flux....

In this paper, we reported a simple one-pot solvothermal approach to fabricate Ag/reduced graphene oxide (r-GO)/TiO2 composite photocatalyst under atmospheric pressure. Based on the experimental data, concluded that introduction of Ag into classical graphene–TiO2 system (i) efficiently enlarges absorption range, (ii) improves photogenerated electron separation and (iii) increases photocatalysis reaction sites. The optimized sample exhibits prominent ability as compared pure TiO2 simulated...

Among renewable energy technologies, particular attention is paid to electrochemically transforming methanol into valuable formate and storing supercapacitors. In this study, we detailed a simple colloidal-based protocol for synthesizing series of alloy nanoparticles with tuned Ni/Co atomic ratios, thereby optimizing their electrochemical performance. With the addition 1 M in KOH, optimized composition was able produce at 0.149 mmol cm

TiO2@SnO2 nanosheets@nanotubes heterostructures were successfully prepared by a facile two-step method: prefabricated SnO2@PNT coaxial nanocables based on the in situ growth of SnO2 sulfonated gel matrix polymeric nanotubes, and then assembly TiO2 nanoclusters that consist ultrathin nanosheets through solvothermal process. These characterized for morphological, structural optical properties scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), photoelectron...

Well-defined Mn2O3 hollow nanofibers with a smooth wall were successfully fabricated by the single-spinneret electrospinning method. The possible formation mechanism was introduced based on temperature-dependent experiments.

High energy consumption in pyrolyzing precursors for catalyst preparation would limit the application of nitrogen-doped carbon-based single-atom catalysts actual pollutant remediation. Herein, we report an Fe single atom (7.67 wt %) loaded polyaniline (Fe-PANI) prepared via a simple impregnation process without pyrolysis. Both experimental characterizations and density functional theory calculations demonstrated that isolated -N═ group sites can fasten atoms through Fe-N coordination PANI,...
