We describe the low-temperature thermal exfoliation of graphite oxide to obtain functionalized graphene sheets (FGSs). Graphite oxide, which is highly oxidized produced by a modified Brodie method, further exfoliated simple heat treatment at 270–275 °C under ambient Ar. The FGSs that are generated have fewer defects and less oxygen content than in commercial (GSs) prepared high temperatures (>900 °C). X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy demonstrates clear π-plasmon peak type seen precursor...

Three-dimensional (3D) rigidity-reinforced SiOx anodes are prepared using the aqueous multicomponent binders to stabilize performances of lithium-ion batteries. Considering an elastic skeleton, adhesiveness, electrolyte absorption, etc., four kinds [polyacrylamide (PAM), poly(tetrafluoroethylene) (PTFE), carboxymethyl cellulose, and styrene butadiene rubber (SBR)] selected prepare binders. The with binder PAM/SBR/PTFE (PSP) exhibit a 3D structure, larger adhesive force, moderate adsorption...

The influence of the pretreatment carbon nanotubes (CNTs) on deposition Pt‐n noparticles is investigated. results show that refluxing CNTs by mixture solution sulfuric and nitric acids, or immersing them in H 2 O are effective ways for depositing Pt‐nanoparticles CNTs. hybrid process yields best obtained with a size about 3 nm surface.

A highly efficient and simple chemoselective aerobic oxidation of primary alcohols to either aldehydes or carboxylic acids in the presence nitric acid was developed, utilising 5 wt% graphene oxide as a carbocatalyst under ambient reaction conditions. Carboxylic functional groups on oxides played vital role activity, greatly influencing both reactivity selectivity. We also applied this protocol variant Knoevenagel condensation for malonates with secondary amine co-catalyst via cooperative catalysis.

Graphene, an extended conjugated system, is efficient fluorescence quencher for various organic dyes and quantum dots. In this Letter, rhodamine 6G (R6G) was used as a typical representative probe molecule to investigate the interaction between graphene cationic dye. The as-prepared oxide were characterised by UV–vis spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy atomic force microscope, respectively. R6G studied spectroscopic techniques. results revealed that no ground state complex formed in presence...
