Bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) pathway is essential for M2 macrophage polarization and hair-follicle neogenesis. Icariin, a flavonoid derived from Epimedium, mediator of the BMP pathway. Here, we develop hydrogel formulation functionalized with icariin regulation to accelerate wound healing Compared skin defects without treatment, those treated icariin+PEG healed faster had new hair follicles. Results in vivo showed that induced higher level phenotypic transformation macrophages. Moreover,...

Ramsey oscillations typically exhibit an exponential decay envelope due to environmental noise. However, recent experiments have observed nonmonotonic fringes characterized by beating patterns, which deviate from the standard behavior. These patterns primarily been attributed charge-noise fluctuations. In this paper, we investigate flux-noise origin of these in frequency-tunable transmon qubits. We develop a random telegraph noise (RTN) model simulate impact telegraph-like sources on...

Abstract Ramsey oscillations typically exhibit an exponential decay envelope due to environmental noise. However, recent experiments have observed nonmonotonic fringes characterized by beating patterns, which deviate from the standard behavior. These patterns primarily been attributed charge-noise fluctuations. In this paper, we experimentally fringe with pattern for transmon qubits, and traced origin is electric instruments induced flux We develop a random telegraph noise (RTN) model...

Tranexamic acid (TXA) has been successfully used to reduce bleeding in joint replacement. Recently local TXA advocated blood loss total knee or hip replacement; however, this raised concerns about potential adverse effects of upon the artificial replacement. In biomechanical study we compared and saline following properties materials-(1) tensile (ultimate strength, stiffness Young's modulus), (2) wear rate using a multi-directional pin-on-plate machine, (3) surface topography pins plates...

The purpose of this study was to evaluate emergency surgery calcaneal fractures using the sinus tarsi approach (STA) with modified reduction technique in terms complication rates, iconography results and functional outcome. We evaluated outcomes 26 patients treated an STA technique. For that, we assessed Böhler´s angle, Gissane body, posterior facet, visual analog scale (VAS), American Orthopaedic Foot Ankle Society (AOFAS) score, complications, preoperative time, operative in-hospital...

Abstract Background: The role of autophagy in hypertrophic scar (HS) development and its mechanisms aren't completely understood yet. This study aimed to investigate the regulatory fibroblasts their progression HS. Results: Dermal tissues were collected from healthy individuals those with First, fibroblast was analyzed using quantitative real-time PCR, immunofluorescence, western blotting. Autophagy increased markedly HS patients rabbit models, resulting activation fibroblast-associated...

Epididymitis, a common disease of the male reproductive system, is often caused by nonspecific infections. Antibiotics alone cannot reverse histopathological changes or prevent long-term issues. Lycopene (LYC), potent antioxidant, has shown potential in alleviating epididymitis, yet its specific mechanisms remain unclear. This study used network pharmacology and vivo experiments to explore LYC's treating epididymitis.

Background: Hypertrophic scar (HS) is characterized by the increased proliferation and decreased apoptosis of myofibroblasts. Myofibroblasts, main effector cells for dermal fibrosis, develop from normal fibroblasts. Thus, stimulation myofibroblast a possible treatment HS.
