A boron-doped diamond nanorod forest (BDDNF) electrode has been fabricated by hot filament chemical vapor deposition (HFCVD) method. This BDDNF exhibits very attractive electrochemical performance compared to conventional planar (BDD) electrodes, notably improved sensitivity and selectivity for biomolecule detection. The electrode, with the possibility of fabricating a sensitive biosensor glucose without any catalyst or mediators, shows good activity toward direct detection simply putting...

Twisted intramolecular charge-transfer (TICT) fluorogens bearing highly pretwisted geometries and readily-fine-tuned characters are quite promising sensor electroluminescence (EL) materials. In this study, by using 4-aryloxy-1,8-naphthalimide derivatives as the molecular framework, it is demonstrated for first time that a CO bond could serve central to construct new TICT D-A systems. Photophysical quantum chemical studies confirm rotation around bonds responsible formation of stable state...

Vertically oriented TiO2 nanotubes (VOTNs) were prepared on Ti mesh substrates with periodically arranged holes by electrochemical anodization, which then used as the photoanodes for flexible dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) fabrication. The VOTNs characterized scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). effects of anodization physical features VOTNs, such nanotube diameter, wall thickness, length, studied in detail. is an ideal candidate DSSC due to its highly bending...

Two new photoluminescent magnesium-based coordination polymers, Mg(int)2·H2O (1) and Mg(nt)2 (2), were synthesized under solvothermal conditions. Structural analyses reveal that they have different 3,6-connected frameworks with rutile- anatase-type topologies, respectively. Compound 1 remains stable after the removal of its guest molecules it exhibits weak ferroelectric behavior.
