The sorghum crop plays a great importance in the production system of Brazilian cattle industry, because it has resistance to drought, rapid growth and issuance tillers. It is with high photosynthetic rates stem elongation, used for making silage rotational grazing. This culture capacity produce forage use periods low or grazing native pastures. Knowing the amount of food ingested by an animal and how it absorbs nutrients is essential to make changes regarding animal's response, so estimation fecal output one tools that assess dry matter intake ruminants, especially when considering difficulties determine it, in grazing animals.
