The characteristics of heat transfer in straight fins with periodic variation base temperature have been determined analytically. heat-transfer process is governed by three dimensionless parameters: the conventional fin parameter N, frequency B, and amplitude A. effects these parameters on instantaneous average flow rates, axial time-wise distributions, efficiencies are demonstrated several examples. In general, time-average efficiency reduced temperature.
The characteristics of laminar natural convection about a vertical plate with periodically changing surface temperature have been studied by the finite-difference method. effects amplitude and period oscillation on instantaneous time-average Nusselt numbers, velocity profiles are demonstrated several examples. High large range frequency were considered in these time-wise variation fluid inner region adjacent to produces back heat flow at high amplitude, frequency, local Grashof number.
A boundary-layer analysis is made for laminar film condensation on a sphere. Similarity transformations are two cases. The first case includes both the inertia forces and heat convection; solutions valid in upper stagnation region. second excludes forces; over entire surface high Prandtl numbers. Results of heat-transfer rate, thickness presented. Comparisons with vertical plate horizontal cylinder discussed.

The turbulent heat transfer rate, wall temperature, and pressure distributions in the hydrodynamically thermally developing region of rectangular converging ducts taper angle 0, 2-1/2, 5, 7-1/2 deg have been determined experimentally. heating condition is such that top bottom walls are uniformly heated while two side unheated. fluid air experiments cover Reynolds number range from 2.4 × 104 to 4.8 104. results show coefficient increased by increasing either or inlet number. An empirical...
The determination of critical ventilation flow rate is significant for the risk control and standard development during accidental hydrogen leakage in a confined space with hydrogen-related equipment. In this paper, an analytical model calculating was proposed through quantification constraint solution effect cost. experimental method used to investigate effects nozzle diameter stagnation pressure on diffusion horizontal cuboid chamber. Ventilations from 30m3/h 180m3/h were carried out...
Substantial agricultural waste, including winter jujube residues, pits, and sawdust, is generated during the planting processing of jujubes. To recycle these wastes, they were used to cultivate Stropharia rugosoannulata. The nutrient composition, mineral elements, 179 pesticide heavy metals in wastes S. rugosoannulata tested. Cultivating liquid spawn with 40 g/L residue as a substitute for glucose significantly increased mycelial pellets’ biomass by 136%, resulting more uniform pellets....
The micro-environment formed by the photosynthesis of submerged plants is conducive to formation CaCO3-P from co-precipitation calcium and phosphorus in water, thereby permanently removing water bottom mud avoiding secondary pollution after decay. However, shows obvious specific-differences environmental dependencies. In present study, two different plants, Myriophyllum aquaticum Potamogeton crispus, were used as research objects. Two variables, inorganic level (0, 0.2, 2 mg·L-1) light...
