The non-null test to detect the modulated wavefront is a widely used method in optical freeform surface measurement. In this study, deformation of an measurement was corrected based on propagation model improve accuracy. A correction (FSWC) system established validate proposed method. Simulation and experimental studies indicated that can reduce influence space propagation. Moreover, form accuracy measured by FSWC reach root-mean-squared value 10 nm.

Absolute measurement is an effective way to obtain high-precision optical surface measurements. This paper describes a convenient absolute testing approach that allows reconstruction of surfaces using Zernike polynomials. method requires classical three-flat and one-rotation before reconstructing the surface. Utilizing well-established procedure, profile can be reconstructed with more orders than are provided by Fritz's method. In particular, simulation error through recalculation test at...

A scheme for designing a novel optical receiving antenna is proposed to extend the field of view, receive higher power, and reduce received-energy spot area indoor visible light communication (VLC). ProE used model antenna, while TracePro Matlab are employed simulations. Firstly, lens wall compound parabolic concentrator with certain rotation angle thickness obtained through rotating reflector cross-section reference curve. Furthermore, designed in combination advantages lens-walled CPC...

In this paper, by constructing a 3-DOF (Degrees of freedom) laser interferometer on each displacement axis motion, the main errors during coordinate measuring machines (CMM) motion are dynamically monitored. The is composed three-beam dual-frequency interferometers, and obtains reflection signal through corner cube reflector. By determining position parameters three reflectors sets feedback signals, can calculate parameters, i.e., axial lateral pitch yaw angles. device installed CMM to...

Angular precision of 0.1° for the blaze angle echelle gratings is an important technical requirement spectral instruments with gratings. This paper proposes a precise adjustment method that are etched or deposited by self-shadowing rotating mask. The will decrease increase when grating rotated in beams etching deposition, respectively. can be controlled adjusting deposition conditions. For nominal 63.0° and groove density 52.7 g/mm, was decreased 0.12° maximum depth 19 nm on facet....

Conjunctive multi-freeform surfaces play an important role in many advanced optical systems. The position and posture accuracy of freeform are the key to system performance. However, there is no effective method measuring positions postures multiple surfaces. In this study, a conjunctive surface measurement based on multi-sensors developed, trust region registration least squares proposed, with aim registering at different postures. performance proposed was analyzed errors were calibrated....
