This paper investigates the feasibility of replacing stainless steel shafts with carbon fiber in model boats, using simulations ANSYS software. The results indicate that require larger diameters to achieve similar mechanical strength, which may compromise hydrodynamic performance and assembly model. Furthermore, issues such as manufacturing difficulty, risk delamination high cost make less viable, despite its lightness.
