Black zirconia ceramics has many problems, such as uneven color and poor phase stability. The reason for this phenomenon is that the colorant uses a with complex black spinel structure, also application of dyeing method. To improve uniformity stability ceramics, TiO2 was introduced to replace traditional spinel, high-temperature reduction method (HTR) employed prepare Ti-doped ceramic, stead conventional After HTR at 1400 °C, concentration Ti3+ oxygen vacancies increased, lightness ceramic...

The inherent sophisticated structure of wood inspires researchers to use it as a natural template for synthesizing functional nanoparticles. In this study, pure copper nanoparticles were synthesized using poplar inexpensive and renewable template. crystal morphologies the characterized by X-ray diffraction field emission scanning electron microscopy. optical properties, antibacterial stability hybrid materials also tested. Due hierarchical anisotropic electron-rich components wood, with high...

Abstract The existing black zirconia has problems such as uneven color development, poor stability, expensive raw materials, and harm to the human body environment. In order solve above problems, this paper intends use NiAl 2 O 4 , NiTiO 3 Fe chromophore, a matrix, solid-phase method is used prepare high-performance ceramics. avoids introduction of toxic elements, at same time, it more economical in selection color-developing pigments. experimental results show that ceramics with uniform...

Carbonation technology offers a novel approach to enhance steel slag performance, where the compaction degree plays pivotal role in optimizing carbonation process. This study reveals that as increases, peak temperature environment gradually decreases, and intensity of reaction weakens. Post-carbonating, compressive strength initially increases before declining, peaking at 60%. At this optimal degree, material achieves 124.4 MPa CO2 uptake 14.5%. The analysis pore size distribution products...

Significant progress has been made in the study of efficient phosphorus adsorption materials. However, more studies need to be on implementing resourceful recycling materials after and removal. Therefore, this analyzed ceramic adsorbent prepared from clay supplemented with Al2O3, CaCO3, their use treatment phosphorus-containing wastewater minimize residues, feasibility its direct as soil. Many experiments showed that optimal conditions for removing were pH 6, dosage 0.15 g/100 mL, time 16 h,...

Abstract This paper aims at preparing a smart wearable purple ceramic that meet the color requirements of wear in market after using zirconate neodymium as chromogenic agent. However, mechanical performance is not satisfactory, especially it has an extremely low fracture toughness. To solve this, 3 mol% yttria-stabilized zirconia (3YSZ) added to preparation multiphase ceramics improve its properties. In this experiment, series samples with addition increasing amount 3YSZ 0, 20, 40, 50, 60,...

ABSTRACT Fully renewable soy protein isolate (SPI)–based film with rigid strength and sufficient water resistance is difficult to attain. In this study, the mussel‐inspired surface chemistry of ɛ‐poly‐L‐lysine (ɛ‐PL)/dopamine was exploited for codeposition onto halloysite nanotubes (HNTs) engineer a multinetwork HNT/SPI bionanocomposite films via physicochemical bonds. A series ɛ‐PL/dopamine aqueous solutions at different concentration ratios were employed. The ɛ‐PL abundant cationic amine...
