Cyclic brush (cb) copolymers that are composed of a cyclic core densely grafted with radiating polymer brushes have emerged recently as innovative materials for both fundamental and practical investigations due to their capability form unimolecular micelles greater stability relative the analogues self-assembled by bottlebrush (bb) an identical molecular weight (MW). However, compared extensive intensive studies on cb homogeneous brushes, preparation application heterogeneous grafts remains...

Polyurethane elastomers with mechanical robustness, tear resistance, and healing efficiency hold great potential in wearable sensors soft robots. However, achieving excellent properties healable capability simultaneously remains highly desirable but exclusive. Herein, we propose a straightforward procedure for double modification of poly(urethane-urea) (PUU) via thiolactone chemistry, two different dynamic cross-linking bonds (disulfide linkages Zn2+/imidazole coordination) are successively...

Abstract Background Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of mortality, and vascular calcification has been highly correlated with CVD events. Abdominal aortic (AAC) shown to predict subclinical incident However, relationship between vitamin C abdominal remains unclear. Objective To investigate dietary AAC among adult population in US. Methods The National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) 2013–2014 provided data for cross-sectional study. 2297 subjects (1089 males)...

Polymeric prodrugs with precisely controlled drug loading content (DLC) and rapid intracellular destabilization generally require complicated chemistry that hinders large-scale manufacture. For this purpose, we reported in study a facile construction of reduction-sensitive amphiphilic polyprodrugs an anticancer drug, 10-hydroxycamptothecin (HCPT), hydrophilic poly(ethylene oxide) (PEG) moiety as the alternating building blocks multiblock copolymer using Cu(I)-catalyzed azide–alkyne...

The preparation of various types miktoarm star polymers with precisely controlled structures (A2B, ABC, AB2C2, etc.) has made significant progress due to the considerable advances in synthetic strategies, including multistep protections/deprotections, orthogonality, and integration different polymerization techniques. However, compared well-developed synthesis methodologies, investigations on copolymers as drug delivery vehicles remain relatively unexplored, especially for relationship their...

Conjugation of various active targeting ligands to the surface nanocarriers realize specific recognition by corresponding receptors localized on membrane cancer cells has provided a powerful means toward enhanced therapy. Folic acid (FA) is one most used due overexpressed FA in many cell lines. However, conjugation hydrophobic usually alters hydrophilic/hydrophobic balance stabilized nanoparticles, leading their thermodynamic instability and subsequent formation aggregates, which apparently...

Elastomers that are self-healable, recyclable, reprocessable, and customizable in mechanical properties desired for numerous industries but remain challenging to achieve. Herein, we develop novel poly(urethane–urea) (PUU) elastomers involving triple dynamic bonds a convenient efficient manner. Briefly, prepolymer based on polyetheramine terminated by asymmetric alicyclic diisocyanate was synthesized chain-extended with two diamines generate PUU elastomer containing hydrogen (H bonds)...

Abstract Crystalline FeVO 4 nanopolyhedron (FVO NPH) photoelectrodes are successfully prepared by using an in situ solid‐state transformation from hydrothermal FeOOH films via adding vanadium precursor and following thermal treatments. The FVO NPH possess uniformly dispersed polyhedral nanocrystals that directly grow on the conductive substrate with tunable film thicknesses. unique morphology enables outstanding photo‐electrocatalytic performance, optimized photoelectrode, which was annealed...
