Abstract With the aim of gaining insight into genetic history Russians, we have studied mitochondrial DNA diversity among a number modern Russian populations. Polymorphisms in mtDNA markers (HVS‐I and restriction sites coding region) populations from 14 regions within present‐day European Russia were investigated. Based on analysis gene pool geographic structure, identified three different elements it vast “intermediate” zone between them. The distances these to ethnic groups revealed main...
The articles gives an analytical review of the research findings dedicated to genetic history North and North-East Europe in last quarter 1st – early 2nd millennium AD. By era vikings population Scandinavia could be genetically divided into three local subclusters, such as a)Danish-like, b)Swedish-like c)Norwegian-like. This clusters partially match modern boundaries these countries. During viking gene pools populations started merge. most rapid spreading was found Danish-like component....

The territory of modern China was a zone active population transformations from the time its occupation by human species. There formation progenitors all Mongoloid populations associated with eastern trunk non-Africans. most ancient group is Tianyuan cave (田園洞). basal steam split, after branch separation into two clusters southern and northern populations. north groups formed gene pool base for half China, Japan, Korea, as well Mongolia, Siberia, America. core Indochina, Indonesia, Oceania....
