Based upon the results of a previous small pilot study, we present prospective single-center randomized study comparing performance implantable loop recorder (ILR) at two implanting sites.A group patients whose ILRs were implanted via left axillary approach compared with who received an ILR in traditional site chest. Follow-up (FU) was scheduled every 6 months or when symptoms occurred. All enrolled had complete FU from implantation to explantation. R- and P-wave amplitudes measured during...
Background: We compared the clinical course of 10 patients who received an implantable loop recorder (ILR) at a traditional site with 11 whose ILRs were implanted via subpectoral left axillary approach without complications. Methods and Results: R-wave amplitude was determined implantation during follow-up. Each patient followed after 7 days to optimize device setting then 1 3 months. The obtained new technique significantly higher more stable than that standard procedure. Our preliminary...
An attempt was made to identify circaseptanal or seasonal variation of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in a population with protein C S deficit. Forty-four patients DVT and deficit were studied for 1 year. A significant circannual rhythm found the total that peaked during winter. There also falling on Fridays. These observations may optimize an adequate precise anticoagulant therapy witi deficits.
Irregularity of ventricular cycles is a cause haemodynamic impairment and symptoms in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF).
Social media plays several important roles in medicine. Medical students are and influential participants the digital world because they young, dominate social network resources, have high engagement power. This letter presents some aspects about how medical use their abilities knowledge to disseminate health information patients public, what limits best practices for them on these platforms.

Conclusions: Transvenous lead extraction is a procedure effective safe. The success rate the incidence of are highly affected by staff experience. The use JA, in presence free-floating or difficult exposed leads, increases both safety rate.

Background: atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common arrhythmia in clinical practice.Drug therapy has only a limited effect on suppression of AF.Preventive Pacing Algorithms and Antitachy strategies (ATP) are increasingly used patients with sinus node disease paroxysmal arrhythmias. Methods: 40 sick syndrome class I/II indication for pacemaker implantation documented or persistent arrhythmias Medtronic AT-500 was implanted.Patients at stable antiarrhythmic medication AF/AT memory 6-8 weeks...
EUROPACEyears. The reduction of mean AMS burden has been calculated.Because the per protocol (PP) evaluation all patients were excluded who violated against inclusioniexclusion criteria, changed medication during study period and/or had incorrect programmer settings. The was inaccurate influenced by inappropriate due to oversensing far field R-wave (FFRW) signals.24 Patients received an individual FFRW test minim& and optimisation AV-/PV-delay reduce proarrhythmic effects.

Relato do caso: Mulher 46 anos...
