In this work, colloidal gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) stabilized into a chitosan matrix were prepared using green route. The synthesis was carried out by reducing Au(III) to Au(0) in an aqueous solution of and different organic acids (i.e., acetic, malonic, or oxalic acid). We have demonstrated that varying the nature acid it is possible tune reduction rate precursor (HAuCl(4)) modify morphology resulting metal nanoparticles. use chitosan, biocompatible biodegradable polymer with large number...

Chitosan is a biopolymer derived from chitin. It non-toxic, biocompatible, bioactive, and biodegradable polymer. Due to its properties, chitosan has found applications in several different fields such as agriculture, food industry, medicine, paper fabrication, textile water treatment. In addition these good film-forming ability which allows it be widely used for the development of sensors biosensors. This review focused on use formulation electrochemical chemosensors. also aims provide an...

Abstract Polypyrrole (pPy) thin films were synthesized electrochemically by a pulse method on platinum electrodes in N ‐butyl‐ ‐methyl‐pyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide ionic liquid (PYR 14 TFSI). An important aspect of this procedure is the use an liquid, as synthetic medium. Further, it can be used for several procedures and then renewed recycled simple extraction just with warm water. It therefore possible to remove from all residual oxidized pyrrolic compounds purify...

A simple and selective method for the determination of caffeine (CAF) theophylline (THEO) has been developed a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified with composite including dots (CDs) chitosan (CS). To our knowledge, there are no previous studies that analyze CDs-modified GCE presence CAF THEO. The electrochemical behavior CDs-CS was studied in acidic medium by cyclic voltammetry (CV) differential pulse (DPV). Considering sensor analytical parameters, same linear concentrations range found...

Studies of the oxidation beta-nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) at glassy carbon (GCEs) electrode surfaces, modified with nonconventional conducting polymer nanotubules, are reported. In contrast to situation conventional electrodes, chemical reversibility NADH reaction was achieved by means poly(1,2-diaminobenzene) nanotubule coatings. A Delta E(p) 425 mV (vs Ag/AgCl; pH 7.0) observed. The amperometric response GCEs shown be extremely stable, 98% initial remaining after 48 h stirring...

Safety and quality are key issues for the food industry. Consequently, there is a growing demand to preserve chain products against substances toxic, harmful human health such as contaminants, allergens, toxins, or pathogens. For this reason, it mandatory develop highly sensitive, reliable, rapid, cost-effective sensing systems/devices electrochemical sensors/biosensors. Generally, conventional techniques limited by long time of analyses, expensive complex procedures, they require skilled...

Carbon paste electrodes were modified by mixing appropriate amounts of the monomers o-phenylendiamine, p-phenylendiamine and m-phenylendiamine (o-PD, p-PD m-PD) into a graphite powder-paraffin oil matrix. The electropolymerization incorporated phenylendiamine was then carried out in carbon electrode acidic medium cyclic voltammetry between −0.30 V +0.90 or under constant potential. (MCPEs) obtained this method found to be useful for trace determination Pb2+ aqueous solutions. Lead(II) first...
