Since the discovery that ceria is an active catalyst for selective hydrogenation of alkynes, there has been much debate on catalytic mechanism. In this work, we propose, based density functional theory (DFT) investigations, a mechanism involves heterolytic dissociation H2 at oxygen vacancies CeO2(111), facilitated by frustrated Lewis pairs consisting spatially separated O and Ce sites. The resulting O-H Ce-H species effectively catalyze acetylene, avoiding overstabilization C2H3*...

Single-atom catalysts (SACs) have recently been shown to high performance in catalyzing the synthesis of NH3 from N2. Here, we systematically investigated a series single transition metal atoms anchored on stepped CeO2 (CeO2-S) screen potential electrocatalysts for N2 reduction reaction (NRR) via density functional theory computations. We first demonstrated that these SACs are stable large calculated binding energies. Second, evaluated adsorption *N2 over CeO2-S-supported atoms. those...

CO oxidation on phosphomolybdic acid (H3PMo12O40, PMA) supported single-metal atom (M = Pt, Au, Co, Cu, Fe, Ir, Ni, Os, Pd, Ag, Rh, and Ru) (M-PMA) catalysts is studied by density-functional-theory (DFT) calculations. Adsorption of O2 M-PMA investigated. Based electronic structure analysis, activated the single-metal-atom active center. The Langmuir-Hinshelwood mechanism systematically explored for M-PMA, it found that M-PMAs have high reactivity toward oxidation. Mars-van Krevelen also...

In recent years, human motion recognition, as an important application of the intelligent perception Internet Things, has received extensive attention. Many applications benefit from such monitoring, elderly fall detection, and somatosensory games. Several existing RF‐based recognition systems are susceptible to multipath effects in complex environments, resulting lower accuracy difficulty extending other scenarios. To address this challenge, we propose RF‐Motion, a device‐free commercial...

An Ortho-mode Transducer(OMT) used for Dual-beam and dual-polarization reflector antenna is proposed the problem of large lateral offset-focus. The matching transducer analyzed by analyzing electronic properties waveguide. experimental results are in good agreement with numerical simulations. Compared to traditional OMT screws outside waveguide, this new structure can realize minimum space between two feed systems.
