Rapid urbanization is one of the major causes degradation ecosystem services (ESs), which poses serious threats to ecological security cities. Assessing ESs and their trade-offs synergies crucial for enhancing integrated promoting coordinated economic-social-ecological development in highly urbanized regions. This study used a combined GeoSOS-FLUS-InVEST model simulate trends spatial distribution five essential (carbon sequestration, habitat quality, water conservation, soil retention food...

Cell senescence deters the activation of various oncogenes. Induction is, therefore, a potentially effective strategy to interfere with vital processes in tumor cells. Sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 1 (S1PR1) has been implicated cancer types, including ovarian cancer. The mechanism by which S1PR1 regulates cell is currently elusive. In this study, we demonstrate that was highly expressed human tissues and lines. deletion inhibited proliferation migration promoted sensitized cells cisplatin...

ABSTRACT Aim: This study aimed to examine the effect of chronic alcohol consumption on development and progression atherosclerosis in apolipoprotein E‐knockout (ApoE −/− ) mice. Method: Male ApoE mice, aged 8 weeks, were randomly assigned four groups: control, model, low‐dose alcohol, high‐dose alcohol. The mice fed a normal chow or high‐fat diet for 14 with water provided alongside 1% (v/v) 5% solutions. Results: Mice group showed significant increase subcutaneous epididymal fat compared...

Abstract The spatial distributions of 239+240 Pu and 137 Cs in soils from Longji Rice Terraces were investigated to evaluate soil erosion. activity concentrations the surface paddy fields range 0.089–0.734 1.80–7.88 mBq/g, respectively. activities showed very similar distribution trends, first increasing then decreasing with elevation. 240 Pu/ 239 atom ratios ranged 0.162 0.232. cores tended be uniformly distributed within plowed layer declined exponentially below this depth. mean erosion...

To establish a 239+240Pu, 137Cs, and heavy metal reference soil site in Northeast China, three grassland cores were collected from the Lao-Ye-Ling Mountain, which is branch of Chang-Bai Mountains. The activities range 0.041–2.752 mBq/g for 239+240Pu 0.2–57.6 137Cs. 240Pu/239Pu atomic ratios 0.161–0.186, showing that study area originated global fallout. Also, excess 210Pb enriched surface soil. convective–dispersion equation model provided lower apparent dispersion coefficients (D)...

<title>Abstract</title> Background PIF1 helicase (5ʹ→3ʹ DNA helicase) is a member of superfamily 1. It has unwinding activity and plays crucial role in maintaining genome stability coordinating damage repair processes. Overexpression common several cancers; however, its ovarian cancer remains unclear. This study aimed to elucidate the regulatory explore mechanism. Results Analysis patient samples public database datasets revealed negative correlation between overexpression overall survival...

<title>Abstract</title> Cullin-RING ubiquitin ligase 4 (CRL4) is closely correlated with the incidence and progression of ovarian cancer. DDB1- CUL4-associated factor 13 (DCAF13), a substrate-recognition protein in CRL4 E3 complex, involved occurrence development However, its precise function underlying molecular mechanism this disease remain unclear. In study we confirmed that DCAF13 highly expressed human cancer expression negatively overall survival rate patients We then used CRISPR/Cas9...
