Medical accelerators have been widely used in tumor radiation therapy. Accurate isocenter coincidence between treatment beams and imaging systems is critical for image-guided therapy (IGRT). We propose a method utilizing phantom with marker spheres to detect the Nine Degrees of Freedom (9-DOF) system’s geometric model assess kV cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). The was initially aligned accelerator. Subsequently, projections CBCT beams’ were acquired separately full gantry rotation. By...
The discrepancy issue of the complex permittivity during fiber production adversely affect overall electrical properties fiber-reinforced composites. As known from reported works literature, no test fixture is currently available to directly measure monofilament with micron-sized diameter in low frequency range. In this paper, ridged semi-cylindrical cavity working at multiple microwave frequencies proposed for measurement monofilament. This consists semi-cylinder Y-shaped slot and metallic...
We study the formation of a partially ionized zone behind usual H II in photo-ionized gas. While Lyman continuum photons are depleted before reaching this zone, Balmer can ionize $n=2$ hydrogen atoms as those pumped by scattering-trapped Ly$\alpha$ photons. need to be replenished steady state, but fast radiative cooling at high gas temperature makes replenishment through electron collisional excitation inefficient. Independently temperature, Raman scattering incident on Lyman-series damping...
