Essential tremor (ET) and dystonic (DT) are movement disorders that cause debilitating symptoms, significantly impacting daily activities quality of life. A poor understanding their pathophysiology, as well the mediators clinical outcomes following deep brain stimulation (DBS), highlights need for biomarkers to accurately characterise optimally treat patients.

The most scientific papers dealing with handwriting recognition systems make statements relating to the performance based on a forced-recognition rate. This rate describes ratio between number of correct recognized samples and all possible samples. For applied in real applications this is not very relevant. They have work low error-rate, which can be only achieved by introducing effective reject criteria. So interesting thing function describing relation specific error rate, including...

Visual search is improved when half of the distractors are presented, before remaining and target added to display, (The Preview Benefit: Watson & Humphreys, 1997). However, colour shared between old irrelevant information (i.e., distractors) new relevant a target), observers show degree inattentional-blindness Negative Colour-based Carry-over Effect: Braithwaite et al., 2003). To account for these effects, researchers argue multi-factor inhibitory model, in which locations features used...

Background: Cervical dystonia is a movement disorder, characterised by involuntary head and neck muscle contractions. Although deep brain stimulation (DBS) of the globus pallidus internus (GPi) an effective treatment option, clinical outcomes can vary even when sufficient targeting accuracy achieved. Evidence indicates role brainstem dysfunction in cervical pathophysiology, but this has yet to be explored relation DBS outcomes. Objective: Here we aimed explore cerebellar peduncle morphometry...
