Soil microorganisms are an integral part of the soil and highly sensitive to environmental changes. The shift in plant community properties following forest succession may cause differences bacterial fungal composition. Some studies suggested community, species composition tends switch from r-strategy groups k-strategy groups. However, generalization on changing pattern has not been worked out. Three forests at early-, intermediate-, late-stage (ES, IS, LS) broad-leaved Korean pine Lesser...
Abstract Geodesic acoustic mode (GAM) is the finite frequency counterpart of zonal flow in toroidal plasmas, which could be excited by and regulate turbulence. This article reports a stationary eigenmode GAM at inner side edge radial electric field contributing to an extreme high confinement plasma with H98>1.3. Such observed exclusively vicinity pedestal top, but not within pedestal, represents previously unreported phenomenon. The bicoherence analysis demonstrates robust interaction...
Abstract Saturated sawtooth oscillations of the (1,1) mode and its higher harmonics are observed in ELMy H-mode discharges at EAST facility. Their spatial temporal characteristics ascertained using singular value decomposition (SVD) short-time Fourier transform (STFT). In non-NBI heating discharges, partial collapse is detected during mid-precursor stage when minimum safety factor (qmin) ≤1. However, NBI harmonic modes precursor phases qmin ≥1.Furthermore, these patterns developed onset...
Abstract In the EAST experiments with neutral beam injection (NBI) and at a low electron density, fishbone instabilities characterized by mode numbers m/n=1/1, 2/2 have been observed. The simultaneous growth of these modes, particularly m/n=1/1 m/n=2/2, triggers sawtooth crashes, which in turn results decrease neutron emission plasma core. As density continues to decrease, beta-induced Alfvén eigenmode (BAE) emerges, replacing m/n=2/2 just before more severe crash occurs. Numerical...
Abstract Experimental observations in EAST tokamak have revealed a notable suppression of tungsten accumulation during the lower hybrid wave (LHW) injection neutral beam (NBI)-heated H-mode plasma. The variation concentration LHW phase is quantified using intensity unresolved transition array (W-UTA), as measured by extreme ultraviolet (EUV) spectrometer. After turned on, concentration, CW=nW/ne, decreased approximately 45%, from 9.5×10-5 to 5.3×10-5. Additionally, peaked profile flattened,...
Abstract The divertor detachment is important for the improved confinement mode (I-mode) to serve as a reliable operating scenario in future fusion reactors. A reproducible steady-state I-mode operation with energy of inner target has been achieved lower single-null (LSN) configuration on Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST). Compared high (H-mode), electron temperature and can achieve at density. In addition, dedicated experiments neon (Ne) seeding assist exhaust heat flux...
We investigated root growth of 1-year-old
The whole root excavation method was used to examine configuration of Juglans mandshurica, with the age 5-6 years in three habitats (forest edge, gap, and canopy) a secondary forest on western part Zhangguangcailing Mountains. Root structure fine function were measured. topological index, average joint length, cross-sectional area ratio before after branching calculated chemical compositions analyzed. Roots J. mandshurica at edge tended be dichotomous branch (Topological index:TI=0.68), that...
