In this paper, we propose a phase-conjugation-based fast radio frequency (RF) phase auto stabilization technique for long-distance fiber delivery. By conjugation at the center site, proposed scheme pre-phase-promotes RF signal with shift which is acquired by round-trip transferring another whose half of one to be sent. Such pre-promotion then used counteract exactly following retard induced one-way Different from previous phase-locking-loop-based schemes, open-loop design avoids use any...

In this paper, we propose and demonstrate a phase stabilized wideband downlink transmission scheme, which directly transmits the received radio frequency (RF) signals from remote antennas to central station. A reference RF tone is round-trip transferred between station end obtain delay variation caused by fiber link. The then used alter tunable laser. Since optical carriers with different wavelengths propagate at velocities in fiber, line realized cancel of range proportion length link,...

We propose and demonstrate a novel stable radio frequency (RF) delivery system based on radio-over-fiber link. The proposed scheme acts as long phase-locking loop where an optical tunable delay line is involved to compensate dynamically for the time-delay variation that arises from fiber-link fluctuation. An carrier with variable wavelength under dispersion results in desired delay. range proportion length of fiber link, so large phase-error correction capacity long-distance can be realized....

Recently, Simon-Vilnrotter and Premaratne-Zheng modified the binary pulse-position modulation (PPM) to support free-space optical (FSO) multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems with orthogonal space-time block coding (OSTBC) that requires use of negative symbols. In this paper, we extend investigation OSTBC schemes high-order intensity modulation. A necessary sufficient condition for maintain orthogonality applied is derived, four Q-ary satisfying are proposed. asynchronous FSO MIMO channels...

In this Letter we demonstrate a fiber link capable of stable time signal transfer utilizing our active long-distance radio frequency (RF) stabilization technology. Taking advantage the chromatic dispersion in optical fiber, scheme compensates dynamically delay variation by tuning carrier wavelength to phase lock round-trip RF reference. Since and reference are carried same carrier, highly is achieved at time. Experimentally, stability over 50-km with deviation 40 ps 1-s average 2.3 1000-s...

In this paper, we propose and demonstrate a multiple local oscillator (LO) signal phase stabilization technique for long-distance fiber delivery. One of the LO signals, which acts as reference single, is round-trip transferred between central station remote end, carrying variation arises from perturbations link. The wavelength optical carrier adjusted according to LO, stabilize delay Once link stabilized, phases other signals that through same will all be stabilized. Meanwhile, tunable range...

Precise time delay sensing combined with stable frequency dissemination on an arbitrary intermediate point along a fiber-optic loop link is presented. Based λ-dispersion-induced radio-frequency (RF) phase locking, the whole and shift are first stabilized. The signals carried same optical carrier delivered to both clockwise anticlockwise directions. On point, instantaneous from central station that can be acquired by measuring difference. standard twice angular of RF reference recovered...

This paper describes the first implementation of Delta-DOR (Delta-Differential One-Way Ranging) in CE'3 navigation within China DSN(Deep Space Network). Tracking data during cruise to moon is analyzed. Compared with high accurate orbit ephemeris, time delay error delta-DOR measurement less than 1ns, which corresponds an angular accuracy about 90nrad or 37m uncertainty on probe position at 380000km. tracking has played important role navigation.

Synchronization is a long-standing challenge in modern large-scale distributed systems, and newly deployed systems such as 5G netted radars require more extensive synchronization. As the number of stations increasing, new synchronization solution with much effort on extensibility highly expected. In this paper we first analyze requirements fiber-based sync then propose phase-stabilized side-branch radio-over-fiber (RoF) link, which fully satisfies requirements. The extensible link can be...
