Mixing of reagents in microfluidics is critical, and currently, the focus on Newtonian fluids, but these are often viscoelastic fluids. In this study, a micromixer containing conductive cylinder proposed based principle induced charge electro-osmosis (ICEO). The Oldroyd-B constitutive model was chosen to characterize flow properties Poisson–Boltzmann used describe ion distribution electrolyte. impact elasticity number (El) fluids mixing efficiency, velocity, vortex studied. results show that...

Micromixers have important applications in lab-on-a-chip, biomanufacturing, and chemical engineering. In this study, a micromixer with conductive barrier plate based on the induced charge electro-osmosis is proposed. The Oldroyd-B constitutive model was chosen to characterize flow characteristics of viscoelastic fluids, Poisson–Boltzmann used electrokinetic properties. effects installation plate, concentration polymer, shape mixing were studied finite volume method. efficiency fluids 78.3%...

We investigated the phenomenon of induced charge electro-osmotic flow (ICEOF) driven by a cylindrical electrode in container, focusing on characteristics under different electric field conditions. Through analytical derivation, we provided approximate expressions for zeta potential and slip velocity around surface direct current rotating fields (ROT), as well presence an alternating effect transistor. The study primarily analyzes distribution influence ROT field, validity derived formulas...

Yellow colored anatase Fe/N co-doped TiO 2 powders have been successfully synthesized by one step hydrothermal method at a lower temperature. The grain size was about 10 nm and the specific surface area of ranged from 160 to 166 m /g. light absorption enhanced in visible region 400~500 new peak 470 appeared when Fe/Ti ratio exceeded 0.5%. photoactivity has greatly improved than that un-doped under irradiation.

In this study, carbon nanotube(CNT) reinforced Al-Cu-Mg composites were fabricated by high energy ball milling(HEBM) combined with semi-solid stirring casting technology(SSC). The effect of CNTs on the microstructural evolution and performance enhancement hot extruded CNT/Al-Cu-Mg was investigated. It indicates that can significantly refine α-Al phase in composite change its grain orientation. The hot-extruded had an inhomogeneous microstructure composed coarse grained zones less fine rich...

TiO 2 thin films were prepared on SiO -coated glass substrates using sols deriving from high concentration titanyl sulfate solution by the spin-coating technique. The calcined characterized X-ray diffraction, UV-Vis spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy. film exhibited transmittance in visible light region and absorption ultraviolet region. contact angle of /TiO decreased to below 5° under 30 min UV irradiation can sustain for 1 weeks.

Micron-sized silicon carbide(SiC) particles and or Carbon nanotubes(CNTs) were reinforced with Al-Si-Cu-Mg alloy via semi-solid stirring casting technology(SSC). The mechanical properties, microstructural evolution deformation mechanisms under SiC/CNTs either individually in aggregate form conditions investigated by uniaxial tensile tests characterizations. results revealed that can significantly refine the α-Al phase composite change its grain orientation. of EBSD TEM showed after dynamic...

In this study, CNTs reinforced Al-Cu-Mg-Si nanocomposites were successfully facbricated by high-energy ball milling(HEBM) combined with semi-solid stir casting. Then the composites subjected to hot extrusion. The Microstructure and Phase analysis of CNT/Al-Cu-Mg-Si characterized Optical microscope, Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM) XRD. Also density, hardness wear measured. results show that addition effectively inhibited growth α-Al grains, grains obviously refined. addition, dynamic...
