Recent developments in vehicle onboard computers and vehicle-to-vehicle communications technology allow automatic control of vehicles the organization into platoons with short intraplatoon distances. One major issues platoon is latency wireless communications. Latency has a negative impact on safety disrupts stability platoons. A decentralized longitudinal platoon-controlling mechanism that uses model predictive approach to safely, even harsh environments, proposed. The sensitivity this...

Congestion in highway networks inflicts economic and emotional stress on drivers a considerable cost to society. To mitigate some of these effects, managed toll lanes are being designed built the United States. These guarantee that they will be able travel at free-flow speed during peak hours when general congested. The strategy used price tolls has become an important issue; however, few studies have focused dynamic optimal pricing strategies. This paper formulates problem basis stochastic...

In the modern logistics process, warehouse is responsible for storage, processing, and order management. Therefore, number of functional areas inside increases. Using systematic layout planning (SLP) cannot obtain optimal plan. The combination genetic algorithm SLP has become a commonly used method to Genetic local optimization, making obtained not optimum solution. Aiming at this problem, fusion scheme ant colony proposed. experimental results show that plan by proposed in paper higher...

This paper proposes an auction system implemented with vehicle-to-infrastructure devices to toll and allocate traffic. Vehicles bid for paths before entering the network. By solving optimization problem, assigns vehicles computes corresponding toll. A mathematical model of this is presented analyzed. The proves that mechanism guarantees truthful reporting maximizes social utility. then tested on a network 5,100 vehicles. also discusses use as toll-setting high-occupancy vehicle or lanes.

The hybrid flow shop scheduling is a challenging problem due to its high complexity and widespread applications in industrial production systems. In this paper, we propose method that integrates path relinking with tabu search (PRTS) solve the objective of minimizing makespan. PRTS utilizes permutation-based encoding effectively find some promising areas. Subsequently, it transitions complete representation guarantee inclusion all feasible semiactive schedules. Building upon this, procedure...

The attempt of a new general adaptive meshless method in simulating singular spontaneous potential logging problems is discussed this paper. This was first proposed and designed by our team, it named overall shape parameter ‘ c</i> ’ radial base point interpolation (OC-RPIM). A model error evaluation using twin matrices used the OC-RPIM local matrix construction. Based on index, architecture...
