The objective of this study was to reveal the impact aging photovoltaic ribbon welding layer materials on performance modules. We conducted thermal cycling ribbon, solar cells, and cells welded with ribbons. Using scanning electron microscopy, we observed interface morphology ribbon. results show that solder exhibited coarsening, voids increased, intermetallic compound thickened at layer. In this paper, we present an approach to study the electrical and spectral degradation properties of InxGa1-xAs (x = 0.2, 0.3, 0.53) solar cell under 150 keV proton irradiation based on numerical simulation.
