In Bangladesh, the use of machinery in agriculture production is fast rising. Researchers are developing technology to replace traditional hand weeding manage weeds rice fields. The present study has been taken increase efficiency and reduce drudgery mulching. A line-to-line distance 20 cm, operation push-pull, field operating condition at 2 - 4 cm standing water (for softening field) was designed hypothesis. weeder consists a skid/float, float holder, adjuster, main body frame, rotor, axel,...

Threshed grain contains impurities which should be removed as soon possible after harvesting and certainly before storage. A clean has esteem value, improves storability, reduces price penalties, milling quality. Traditionally farmers use wind or fan to remove foreign matter from the grain. In mechanical cleaner, a several superimposed reciprocating sieves screens are now used. These can operated manually by electric motor. Traditional cleaning methods laborious cleaners costlier for farmer....

The existing BRRI Hydro-tiller was tested at West byde to find out the causes of frequent tearing hydro-tiller chain. Its capacity found 0.023 ha/hr. reason associated with fault chain identified i.e. thickness not sufficient bear load, strength bearing rotary box load. To overcome problem, sprocket increased 11mm. ASME #60 used instead #50 width is 23 mm. In addition, two bearings were set in combination shaft a single increase smooth operation full load condition. size each 62 mm x 16...

Moisture content significantly impacts rice milling quality, influencing head yield and consumer acceptance. This study investigates the effect of moisture on recovery two parboiled varieties, BRRI dhan82, dhan71, using an air blow type Engelberg huller. Both varieties achieved highest (around 62%) at a 10.2-11.3% (wet basis). Lower resulted in increased broken percentage. No un-hulled paddy was found milled product. These findings suggest that 10-11% is optimal for with this huller,...
