Plant life-long organogenesis involves sequential, time and tissue specific expression of developmental genes. This requires activities Polycomb Group (PcG) trithorax complexes (trxG), respectively responsible for repressive Histone 3 trimethylation at lysine 27 (H3K27me3) activation-related 4 (H3K4me3). However, the genome-wide dynamics in histone modifications that occur during processes have remained elusive. Here, we report distributions H3K27me3 H3K4me3 along with changes, a series...

Analysing the interaction of mosquitoes with bed nets is crucial for development interventions against malaria transmission. In this paper a measurement technique presented to reconstruct mosquito 3D positions and flight paths.
Insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) are the most effective method for malaria prevention in Africa. Using near-infrared video tracking a laboratory environment, we recorded and assessed bednet entry exit by northern Tanzanian population of Anopheles arabiensis at human-occupied untreated net PermaNet® 2.0 ITN. Both had 12 holes, each 10 cm diameter, punctured specific locations, ITN was washed 20 times to further simulate wear tear ageing. Washing reduced insecticide content ITNs 61%, which then...
