We report acetamidinium (AA)-substituted methylammonium (MA) lead iodide perovskite solar cells. AA has a restricted C-N bond rotation because of delocalized π-electron cloud over the N-C-N and presence an additional N-H···I (4H-bond in as compared to 3H-bond MA). These bonding structures strengthen electrostatic interaction stabilize cation inside matrix. AA, larger cation, is substitutional only up 10%. Devices made with 10% AA-substituted films show average Voc 1.12 V, higher than 1.04 V...

In terms of sustainable use, halide perovskite (HaP) semiconductors have a strong advantage over most other classes materials for (opto)electronics, as they can self-heal (SH) from photodamage. While there is considerable literature on SH in devices, where it may not be clear exactly damage and occur, much less the HaP material itself. Here we perform "fluorescence recovery after photobleaching" (FRAP) measurements to study polycrystalline thin films which encapsulation critical achieving...

Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni, member of Asteraceae family, has bio-active compounds stevioside and rebaudioside which taste about 300 times sweeter than sucrose. It regulates blood sugar, prevents hypertension tooth decay as well used in treatment skin disorders having high medicinal values, hence there is a need for generating the plant on large scale. We have developed an efficient micropropagation protocol half strength Murashige Skoog (MS) media, using two-stage culture procedures. Varying...

Due to their vast industrial importance, poly(ethylene glycols) [PEGs] have become substances of major investigations. The hypothesis that aqueous PEG rather than pure may provide substantially improved physicochemical properties for many applications is addressed. Solvatochromic electronic absorbance probes are utilized gather important information about these systems. Response from a water-soluble betaine dye suggests decrease in dipolarity/polarizability and/or hydrogen-bond donating...

Abstract Self‐healing (SH) of (opto)electronic material damage can have a huge impact on resource sustainability. The rising interest in halide perovskite (HaP) compounds over the past decade is due to their excellent semiconducting properties for crystals and films, even if made by low‐temperature solution‐based processing. Direct proof self‐healing Pb‐based HaPs demonstrated through photoluminescence recovery from photodamage, fracture healing use as high‐energy radiation particle...
