<title>Abstract</title> Polarized optical contrast spectroscopy is a simple and non-destructive approach to characterize the crystalline anisotropy orientation of two-dimensional materials. Here, we develop 3D-printed motorized polarization module, which compatible with typical microscope platforms enables perform broadband polarization-resolved reflectance spectroscopy. As proof principle, investigate in-plane birefringence exfoliated MoO3 thin films few-layer WTe2 crystals. We compare...

Alumina is a remarkable material for integrated photonics thanks to its broad transparency window spanning from ultraviolet infrared, low propagation losses, and high solubility rare-earth elements. However, conventional device fabrication processes, particularly those involving etching, often introduce significant optical hindering the performance of high-quality alumina components. Pulsed laser deposition combined with lift-off process offers an effective alternative, addressing...
