As an allotrope of phosphorus, layered violet phosphorus (VP) has a wide range applications in electronics, photonics, and optoelectronics. However, its nonlinear optical properties remain to be explored. In this work, we prepare characterize VP nanosheets (VP Ns), investigate their spatial self-phase modulation (SSPM) effects, develop them all-optical switching applications. The ring forming time SSPM the third-order susceptibility monolayer Ns were found about 0.4 s 10-9 esu, respectively....

The generation, propagation, and applications of different types integer vector beams have been extensively investigated. However, little attention focuses on the photophysical photomechanical properties fractional beam (FVB). Herein, we theoretically experimentally investigate spin angular momentum (SAM) separation propagation characteristics weakly focused FVBs. It is demonstrated that such a carrying no SAM leads to both transverse special intensity patterns in focal region. Furthermore,...

The interaction of intense laser with matter gives rise to a variety novel nonlinear optical effects, reflects the property material, and modulates light propagation behavior. Herein, we investigate anisotropic Kerr nonlinearities induced by both scalar vectorial fields. Firstly, present third-order refraction indexes related left-hand right-hand components, which depend on ellipticity, dichroism coefficient, anisotropy as well crystal orientation angle. Secondly, develop elliptically...

We investigate anisotropic two-photon absorption (TPA) effects in a cubic-symmetry crystal excited by scalar and vectorial optical fields. First, we present the TPA coefficient, which depends on anisotropy dichroism orientation angle, ellipticity of polarized ellipse. Second, develop elliptically light Z-scan technique for characterizing absorbers, is demonstrated experimentally. Last, laser beam shaping fields with Gaussian intensity distribution into flat-top profile through effects. It...

In the last decade, plasmonic vortex field has been studied extensively due to intriguing properties such as high enhancement, optical singularity, and orbital angular momentum. this work, we propose metananoslots that consist of paired orthogonal nanoslots arranged in an Archimedes spiral distribution. The work a lens enables synthesis highly tunable via strong interaction between illumination slots etched on gold film. By adjusting orientation pair, exhibit controllable spin-dependent...
